What we're some of your mistakes with MapleStory when you first joined?

Ok when I first started my baby anzamyu, I had help from real life fiance/ well now ex husband/fiance in maple and real life. He was here in town and helped me make my first mage. And oh did he ever screw me up man. I believe he added 14 str 7 dex to my mage and less int >O and luk. GIMME BREAK MAN. anyways, he gave me all magic armor and only less m. guard dude how idiotic. >O. But, It took my Current maple husband to fix my pineappling crap mang. He said my m. guard wasnt up enough i was only using m. armor. My ex screwed me over man. He cant even make a proper character. So when i was 4x, i finally got help and now im 132 after so long. FOR ALL YOU KIDDIES OUT THERE DON'T LET OTHER MORONO'S PLAY YOUR CHARACTER. THAT cant build a proper character. my life is great now ty u nexon for all your free craps

I made a lot of nooby mistakes ^^

My first character was a Magician, I had never played any computer games before so Maplestory was actually my first MMORPG ever so I really had no idea how it would work out. I asked around on Maple Island how to get my job advance and some guy told me I had to get level 10 first, so of course I hit level 10 and then became a magician.. lol. After that I started adding -just- str because I wanted to be stronger and the occasional time I'd add HP. Then I bought NX for the first time and really didn't know what to do with it, so I bought NX wings (it's like this black wing cape with red outlining) thinking they would make me fly. My magician made it to level 24 before I realized how much I sucked compared to everybody else.

I made a character and wanted him to be a warrior, then at about level 9, I decided to make him an assassin, I made it all the way to level 70 before I deleted him realizing how bad his stats were (+20 str) this was all before even pirate existed in GMS.

I got bored of rolling and went with 6/5 stats on my (eventual) Paladin.

That's it really... I mean, I trained at bad spots occasionally for sure, but I still do that.

I didn't take more epic IGNs?
I made a str cleric (so it could be stronger) and made it mg less because magic armor added defense :o
I dropped a pair of steelies (back when they costed 20mill+ on the ground to watch it disappear....well that wasn't much of a mistake just me being silly)
I dropped traded for items because i was too lazy to open the trade window

I stayed playing only maplestory for over a month. D:
I would sell weapons for double the npc price, thinking I was a marketing genius, cus everyone was coming to me. D:
First MMO. Lol

Spent about an hour rolling the dice to end up with 5/5 stats.

Had an assassin that used STR daggers.

Had a magician with STR and DEX to use my double axe.

Thought my friend was pro because he had 2 level 2x's.

I was the first out of my IRL friends to hit 30. Thought I was pro.

100 base DEX hermit.

Went to Ludi on a 2x Archer because I thought I could train there.

Got scammed for Icies, 50k and some random equips by a "friend". Messaged him a couple of months later saying "I don't mind you took my stuff. Can we be friends again?" Lol.

Was training at Wild Boars with another random person. I killed a stump (w/e one) and Wooden Tops dropped. They stole them then logged off. I was so upset that day.

Put stats into HP and thinking Monster cards were the upgrade items instead of scrolls (I was an avid Ragnarok Online player when I first played Maple)..
