You need to get the three pieces of the trident, and use the forged trident to break down his bubble/wall thing.

I just got the game and I AM STUCK!!!

You're supposed to forge the "Legendary trident of Ankhol" by finding three prongs to the trident. Here are the locations:
* Shrine of the Sea God
* Ankhol Ruins (Need the psyenergy Sand)
* Tundaria Tower (Need the psyenergy Parch)

If you don't have the psyenergys mentioned above, go beat Gaia and Aqua Rock.

After you collected all the trident pieces, go to Alhafura and free the boat mast from the rock by using the psyenergy Blast (you should have that from Tundaria Tower) and you'll go through a long cutscene along with Briggs escaping.
Once you've done that, go to Champa and find Briggs with his granny in the cave in Champa. Beat the Avimander miniboss (it's easy) and then talk to the granny again. She'll forge you the trident. Equip it to any fast moving character.

When you fight Poseidon, have your character use the trident by going into items during battle and poseidons force field should break.

Yes I got confused in this part when I first started. I took a WHILE trying to find out where the last piece is without the walkthrough (the one I'm missing was in Tundaria Tower).
