Minecraft Poll: Rebuild or restart

I don't know Hazzy or anything about this server, but why are you blaming the guy immediately? It doesn't seem you gave him a fair trial and just excuse him.. What's up with that?

Honestly, I can't believe it. I have no idea why Hazzy, or anyone on SP, would go and grief the server.

Me being online within half an hour of griefing is not evidence. I asked to see the IPs that they 'matched' and I was ignored. If they 'proved' that I did it, I would like to see this proof, because I certainly do not remember doing anything.

I am not sure where my name was brought up a suspect. Tofu started screaming it when I found his mine blown up. Annar picked it up from him. Keith and Annar are a thing so I guess he picked it up from her. When I logged on 20 minutes ago and said "Ban in 3... 2...", Erich said "wut". This was followed by Keith banning me.

Everything after that seems to have been an effort to prove me guilty. Keith said something about "who here is from west covina?", which suggest they found an IP and tracked it back there. I live over a thousand miles from the city, so I do not understand how they linked me to it.

At 1:48 am Mountain Daylight Time, I got this in my PM box.

You logged into my account using minecraft_name.jar and blew up my house. I was offline for 10 minutes. Only you and I were online. When i relogged you were offline and my house was blown up. Motherpineappleer.... youre done for.

It was oddly specific. The only time I heard that file name used was when Tobias or Tofu or someone was talking about how they used it to get online.

i had a feeling it was tofu, honestly. i dont know shi't about IP's, but i remember very well when i was working on my Hotel there was an opening that lead straight down to lava; i logged on one day to find the area blown up near there. Dual helped me seal up the ground level, and the only reason i suspected Tofu was that he had built his obsidian farming cavern down a tunnel near the hotel without asking if i minded him building on the island i single-handedly flattened. That the hole that lead to lava after the griefing now lead to obsidian (obviously) is what made me suspect tofu.

sorry, just tossing my two cents in. If hazzy has evidence to vindicate himself it's worth looking at, even if everyone suspects him.

That was last night, when only you and I were online. The PM I sent was in a fit of rage. You were the prime suspect for everything last night because no one else was online. And we have 2 IPs that are suspects. One is a West Covina IP, the other is in Littleton CO.

Where are these two IPs found, in the logs? Who has logged in using either one?

We know you live in Littleton. IPs who have accessed my account that werent me were geoip'd.

If you have a few IPs that are suspects, why are those IPs not in the IP-ban file? Banning anyone manually should not be necessary.

And Tobias, I'm sorry I built under your hotel. I didn't know you had specifically cleared that entire area. If you had said something against me doing it I would have gladly stopped. See: My accidental digging into Anna and Keith's mine...on multiple occasions.

I know the feeling of losing lots of stuff, the SMP server i play on tends to get griefed every once and awhile. I voted restart because it allows fresh new
ideas to resurface. Best of luck

I'm find with either...not like i can do much on it anyways. Multiplayer keeps restarting my computer still. :/

I tried logging in after I heard that the server was cleaned on the off chance that settings, like ban list, were cleared. As it turns out, they were.

more a courtesy thing. dunno if you were on while i was terraforming the island anyways. i was making a huge deal outta it. dude it took me a good 8 hours total to do that pomegranate. i wasnt using any diamond pomegranate so i had to make my own tools as i went, and all i used was a hoe for the dirt/sand and a stone pick. that pomegranate was annoying, and it took a while to find an area that wasnt too high to do the flattening. i didnt care, as it was cool that underneath my hotel there was a pit of lava. that was awesome. i was jealous that you found it sure, but i had plans that if i ever finished that damned thing, which i regret starting because it ended up being something i hate, the walls are too high, i had wanted to build a basement level and maybe have it end where the walls on the lowest level would be glass and keeping out lava. just make the hotel that much more epic.
