*136 page opinion.

And his main contentions focused on due process and equal provisions which were constitutionally violated under Prop 8. He also said the main clauses of the law had "no rational basis," effectively saying it was an illogical law.

Vaughn Walker is my hero.

Tehehehehehehe.

You so punny.

This gets me excited for November. When renegade California passes that vote, other states will follow suit, and then the biggest state(yknow, the one with the maple trees?) will too. Then it's prime time to move back to the great white north!

Congrats to everyone who is... gay. Big win for you all.

That was a great read.

This is a great step towards a much better world. If I had a stamp that said, "This thread has so much win, You would cry at the site of it" badge; I would place it here.

Now we need to get other states legalized... What are the next states to be legalized? Any takers?

Still need to fix the tax rate that favors a household stuck in the 1950s with your blonde-haired blue-eyed sitcom mom, a blonde-haired son, a red-haired girl with freckles, and a red-haired dad that has that cheesy 1950s smile all over his face. Financial benefits are dictated by disparity, not fiscal equality.

So funny that the other side would say the same exact thing.

On-topic: In my opinion, gay marriage proponents would want this to be challenged in the Supreme Court. If the ruling stands in your favor, then it could be used as a judicial precedent in other lower court case battles.
