Sooo with this stuff coming out, is there ANY reason to still use currently good scrolled items? We might as well just buy fresh clean ones and potential scroll till we all get 20k+ ranges...

Equips already on hand will not have the tag "unidentified" meaning you'd have to go get a 70% scroll (or 90% scroll after spending NX on miracle cubes) with a 100% boom rate to give it the "unidentified" tag.

If you hunt for them, there's a chance of them having the tag when they drop.

All of your current equips will not have the tag "unidentified". To gain boosts, an equip needs to have the "unidentified" tag. You then use a magnifying glass to identify it as either epic, rare, or unique. <~ That will determine the boosts you get.

Once this patch comes in, equips that drop from monsters have a certain chance to already have the "unidentified" tag on them.


However, there's something you can do about your current equips.
If you choose to, you can use a 70% scroll (100% boom rate) to give any item you have the "unidentified" tag. But this is of course seriously dangerous to use on godly scrolled items.

Actually the purple potential scroll gives unidentified status to items. It has a 90% success rate, not 70%. It is dangerous to use, but you literally have no choice if you want potentialized items.

Seriously... This is such a dumb idea. With this going on we might as well not scroll our current equips until we made godly potential equips to cover up for losing items that are currently godly..

I'm still working on upgrading my equips but I'm moving towards duplicates (in case of booms) and higher level gear (better rewards).


It's still better to have well scrolled gear (40 stats 18% overall > clean 18% overall) it's just not the primary source of damage anymore.

The only purple scroll that exists in KMST as far as i know is just a purple scroll and it's 90% success. It drops from everything.

I'm basing that on what Spadow posted about KMS v. 198, not sure if KMST is different or they got rid of them.



5 cube pieces for a regular purple scroll, 10 for an advanced one. They look the same, just have different success rate.
