its complicated. I know parts of it but not the whole story. (her phone died before she could tell me) but the boyfriend was in an open relationship with another girl, and before he met my friend, he told his open GF that he would take her to the prom (tonight) and now after meeting my friend, wants to go out with her, and they like each other, but he doesnt want to ditch the girl 2 weeks before the prom with nobody to go with, so he is taking her to the prom, and will break up with her tomorrow, and they will officially be a couple on sunday on their "not-date"

1 if i knew 2 girls, and i liked both equally, but one would give me tons of stuff, id try going out with that one first (not the situation though XD)
2 I know this girl. Shes not shallow or in it for the stuff. She likes the guy.
