just got nostalgad. When i was little my friend quit and i got to play on her account, All i did was gnomeball, gnome cooking, and castle CTF thing... good times...

But, i was looking for something more... in depth... than runescape. (I always felt like meh, doesnt even have classes, makes everybody too similar IMHO)

Play Lineage II.

Definitely worth your time and the private server community rocks.

Oh, and Ragnarok. It's huge.

F2P:
Grand Fantasia (apparently a western MMO under the guise of a Japanese MMO)
Atlantica (never played it, it's getting high ratings everywhere though)
Neo Steam (fun game)
Runes of Magic (aka WoW clone)
ROSE Online (I just like this game because I have a history with it, I think it's fun but most people think it's mediocre)
Gunbound (tactical shooter, try to find a nicely populated older version, Gunbound 2 is balls)
S4 League (shooter, fun even if you're not "pro"...unlike Gunz)
Dungeons & Dragons Online

P2P/B2P:
Guild Wars
Global Agenda (shooter/MMORPG sorta)
World of Warcraft
Lord of the Rings Online
Borderlands (shlooter)

RagnarokYou have 2 options, P2P or go in the free server where lagg resides. The game is really confusing when you are just starting out, but overall its REALLY good,

Ragnarok seems like what you might be looking for.

Or Lineage II is good.

LaTale or WonderKing is good if you are looking for 2D games. Ragnarok is a point and click game, and I know a lot of people who play MapleStory hate that. But if you don't mind that, then Ragnarok is a decent game.

Dofus isnt really all that fun. a friend of mine played it, and i tried it out; to even go to the LOWER leveled areas, and by that i mean the stuff like 20+, you need to pay for a membership. kinda like a tactics game in gameplay. more than one person can enter into a battle, and there PvP.

overall i'd give it a 5/10.

Thx for the review, ill bump it down, But for the record, i have no probs paying a subscription. I just dont want it to be like maple, the more real money you put in, the more advantages/money you can get.

Going to tell you ahead of time, Ninjas and Gunslingers suck since they cannot Transcend (Rebirth). Rogues were my specialty, they are great PvE character since they have a skill called Gank that has a chance to steal an item from a monster when attacking. They also have great avoid.

Check out iRO Wiki. It should cover a lot of what you need to know.

Hmm, im preety sure the gunslinger needed agility, dex and just that.
Rouge has 2 builds, I only did the critical one, you put most into luck and the rest into agility and mid of str
Never played a ninja

Critical Rogues are horribly inefficient since the crits interfere with Double Stab which results in very inconsistent DPS. Also, Rogues have 2 main types of builds: Dagger Rouges (Strength, Agility, and Dex. Some Vit is optional for added survivability) and Bow Rogues (Agility and Dex. Very little Vit can be added but you are usually far from enemies). Gunslingers are built the same way Bow Rogues are. Magic Ninjas get Int, Dex, and Vit.

I'd also recommend looking into Combo Monks, they use Knuckles or Maces and chain combos together. They are actually really fun.

Do you really have to keep reposting all your games?
