Due to all thats happening with maple (hackings, cant play due to super lag, glitches, massive amount of money required, not being able to charge NX) I will be taking a break from maple.
Can you help me find a new MMORPG?
Here are some things that need to be fulfilled in order of importance
-must be fun
-NO IN GAME ADVANTAGE CASH SHOP! monthly prices are fine, CS with just visual stuff is fine, but no ala gach, no items, no super scrolls, nothing in the CS that gives advantages
-if it is pay2play, under 60$ 1 time cost, or less than 40$ / month.
-(more to come)
bonus points for
*wide ranges of classes
*classes similar to MS sairs/buccs
*storyline
*wide class variety
* good customer support / game upkeep
*good communities

When was the last time you tried it? They recently put in an in game tutorial with the little pop-up windows. They also added in an in-game quest helper so people who just started, and don't know about add ons yet, didn't have so much trouble figuring out wtp is going on.
PLAY WOW!! WOW ROCKS!! =)

Where have you been? WoW doesn''t NEED you to put your stats anywhere; it does it for you. If you screw up your build you can pay a little bit of gold to reset it. You learn ALL your skills from your class trainer. Food and water to recover your HP/Mana is dirt cheap for how much you get. Equipment is pretty obvious at what you need. I played WoW back when it was Vanilla, and I had a blast just screwing around, because there's no way you can screw up your character, ever. Mistakes in that game aren't permanent.

After these questions, lets move on to other games and suggestions. Dont want this to turn into a WoW thread (no offence) I play on Bloodhoof. Blizz is trying to make the game easier to get into since Cataclysm is coming out. They're making the level up process as smooth as they can.
I tried dream of mirror before and it was pretty fun. Aion is meh.... I had to force myself to play it. The movement and game reaction time is just way too slow for me. Not fast paced like WoW is.

Depending on your taste in graphic styles, Perfect World Entertainment offers 3 MMORPG's: Perfect World, Jade Dynasty, Ether Saga.
1. Perfect World
-is the first game they adopted.
-It is a PvP enabled game
-PWE has license to edit and fix the game as needed. They recently recruited a team of testers on the live server to determine game imbalances, aiming to report and have it fixed.
-Has a cash shop, but can trade farmed in-game gold to get cash shop gold
-The only ways to gain in-game gold is to farm with friends (or multiclient it all urself.. which is bannable) then sell the drops, or farm crafting materials. All of which requires you to do some merchanting. Obviously, money problems go away when you spend real life money. It is impossible to farm gold by endlessly killing mobs.
-It is a graphical pain in the ass in a territorial war where two guilds fight to gain control of a piece of land
-If you decide to play this game, stick to the version released by PWE
2. Jade Dynasty
-PvP enabled
-upgraded version of perfect world: imbalances, game interface inconveniences, etc. are mostly either fixed, improved or removed.
-very nice storyline (see Celestial Destroyer, Zhu Xian for theme songs, trailers etc. - PWE didn't seem to do such a great job here imo)
-spectacular graphics (skill animations for the most part). None cash shop bought clothes at least look nice/decent and conforms to the overall theme of the game.
-once again, is run by cash shop but the gold is much more recyclable than it was in PW.
-It is far more possible to farm gold by yourself - through daily quest rewards
-offers multiple realms (think of it as channels on ms) to reduce lag
-If you plan to play, stick to PWE's version. Celestial Destroyer (same game, but "maintained" by cubizone, malaysian company) has a bunch of missing stuff from NPC's to mobs and quest items. Zhu Xian I believe is the chinese version.
3. Ether Saga
-it's a cuter version of Jade Dynasty
sorry, I havent tried Ether Saga as of yet
The biggest difference, imo, between the last two games vs Perfect World though, is the amount of daily quests you can do to gain major amounts of exp and gold along with the ability to legally "hack" your levels. Basically, they've got an implemented feature that bots for you as long as you have the resources to keep it going.

The way you talk about it, you make it seem very CS dependant for gold unless you spend LARGE amounts of time.. Im trying to stay away from that
