Well, what's the "intended" way to kill pink bean anyways? Making animations for the hawk statues' attacks seems totally pointless when the only real thing that matters is damage reflect and seduce. The fight as a whole is pretty horribly designed. Exploiting monster behavior is the only real away to prevent the hawk statues from taking out the entire group. It really doesn't make sense for the statues to just sit there when nobody's in range of its attacks while stars and arrows are hitting it from the back. While killing pink bean is technically possible right now without the pyramid glitch, it's extremely unrealistic. When using the glitch is the only real way to kill pink bean, it should be fine so long as the run isn't passed off as a non-glitched run. Also, keep in mind that it's not like PB becomes easy to kill with the glitch, you still have to stay alive because wheeling removes the glitched buff.

The buff is actually multiplicative. I think it excepts shadow partner due to the fact that shadow partner mimics the night lord's damage. Instead of 50% of regular damage, it does 250% of regular damage (that makes 1250% of nonglitched damage). That makes the stars do 1250%*3 + 500%*3 instead of 50%*3 + 100%*3, so triple throw essentially gets a 11.67x damage boost, disregarding the damage cap.

That's how I was thinking it worked too. I talked to an NL who said that her top stars were doing the same damage as her bottom stars with the third (red) buff, but she didn't explain it well and I'm fairly sure she just doesn't understand what's going on.

As above, I never said it was "legit" by your definition.

It's really easy for the morally anal to lump everything they find to be immoral, no matter how small, into the big pile of illegit. However, you really need to think about scale. Using the glitch to kill Pap in 1 minute instead of 4 is pretty massively different from using it to kill (and reap the rare stuff from) a boss that has never been killed before. And what the hell, it's there, it won't be there for long, I might as well have some fun with it.

If you're against stealing but have pirated music (I'd be willing to bet everyone here has done this), then it's not much of a different situation. This glitch is a victimless crime that has been used to expedite bosses that would normally take longer, but are limited to 2 a day anyway. It's not as though using the glitch allows me to kill a boss I wouldn't normally have been able to kill, nor does it allow me to kill the boss more than 2 times. It just speeds up a process I do often and would have done anyway.

Glitching: I am all for glitching so long as I deem it not-gamebreaking. An example of a gamebreaking glitch would be hammered slots resetting after server transfer. Except maybe the barrel trick on bosses, I don't think any other glitch falls into my "gamebreaking" catagory.
Hacking: I am against all forms of hacking and benefiting from it in any way. This includes getting money/exp, duped items, or using any other kind of hack to your advantage.
Leeching: I don't care. Go for it. I tend to lose some respect for people who almost never play their character, but it's certainly not my place to tell them not to.

How can you? The trouble it takes to get the buff isn't really worth 1hkoing Crimson Guardians for half an hour. Unless this PQ is located in every town or something?

According to a couple people i know, a 3 person 15min full GB run and an 8 person 30min HT run is great exp

God, is it too much to ask that they least respond to this?

I don't see how this could harm the community, other than people who rely on HT/Zakum drops, or PB's lack of drops, for an income. There are a lot more serious issues Nexon should respond to before they even look at this.

No, no. I know someone who was perma banned not too long ago (before this patch).

I should start spreading some rumours as well, it's really helpful in preventing people from doing it.

I'm just doing it cause i like to see pretty numbers and i won't be able to do that type of damage for a very long time. so might as well do it now while i can.
