Pyramid PQ "Glitch"

I've seen quite a few people outside Pyramid PQ in Broa spamming "J>Glitch", "R>Glitch", etc. What is this "glitch" and how do you activate it?

Edit: Ok, apparently you have to do a party Pyramid PQ and leave when you get the 400% buff. But is it true that you have to use the Lightning thing first?

Is it the 4x damage glitch lol?

I'm not gonna ask you to tell which the "awesomeness glitch" is, but since we already know the pharaoh's bless glitch, can you tell if that one is the one you're refering too?

The glitch everyone is referring to is a 400% damage buff you receive inside the Pyramid PQ upon hitting a certain number of combos or whatnot. Currently, if you talk to the NPC with the buff and choose to "Quit" the PQ, the buff stays active for its entire hour-long duration, allowing you to exercise your new god-like powers anywhere in the Maple World.

Referring to Tay's post above, it would make the most sense that people would get banned for exploiting this, but then again, half of GMS is getting their accounts hacked because Nexon couldn't secure their database, so whatever you choose to do in this big, steaming mess of fail that Nexon calls Global Maple Story: January 2010 is up to you.

Tested it, seems like the bug isn't in GMS. Only tried once though, not ganna try again. They're most likely referring to 400% buff being smuggled out.

And 50 boxes every 2 minutes as well.

I know the buff glitch, but i know not the massive abuse of the box glitch that KMS had where they could get thousands of boxes in the span of an hour.

EDIT: Oh wow, I totally forgot to cast MW on the second Pap. I was wearing my HTP because I thought the buff disappears when you unequip your weapon (it doesn't), and since I was wearing my gun when I got dispelled, totally forgot to recast it. lol xP

So how long did it take them to fix this glitch in kMS or mSEA? Hopefully it's fixed soon, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. I wonder how long Zak would take...

I just tried this, and it doesn't work. About 20-ish seconds after I got the 400% buff in the PQ, I talked to the guy to leave, and the buff disappeared when I did. What did I do wrong?

You have to do party, not solo.

Would it kill Nexon not to add stupid pomegranate like this in the first place? The monsters have 1 hp, there is no reason to give people a 400% buff except to open the game up to untold glitches..
