Best Warrior Job to choose from?
#21
FA-less?
Stick it in Iron Body or something. If a job's weakness is in a skill it has, skip the skill.

And yeah, I know it's great for PS, but there's Blast, and you can stick to mobbing till then or something.

Iron Body is worse than easily available w.def pots, if it matters that much then you should be using the pots (I think it's 40 wdef for maxed Iron Body vs. 50 wdef on the defense pots).

Supiangel Wrote:Obviously , Fighter / Crusader / Hero , is the most powerful char in MapleStory , has a very good balance in MP/HP , high and fast damage (Brandish skill for example) , and the best skill Big Grin... COMBO! is awesome with lag Big Grin (You can do panic/coma multiple times without lose orbs XP).

1) Heroes don't have the best DPS. Easily get outdone by Archers and NL at bosses and they're more prefered to begin with, especially the combination.

2) Very good balance of HP/MP, it's a warrior. 'nuff said.

3) High and fast damage, see 1.

4) When you use your finishers during lag, they don't actually deal damage. You can spam all you want, but after 10 you'll just lag out anyway.

5) 100% 2hko's skelegons last of all three warriors.

Get some real facts to back your useless claims up, right now you're sounding like a retarded basiler. LOZL DK R GR8 BIG SPEAR DMG

Supiangel, If you were experienced as a Crusader/Hero you would have noticed that if you lag and Panic/Coma twice, only one of them will count(I think it's the first one, not 100% sure about that). You only see more than 1 in your screen.

Hero, I believe solo NLs do not out-DPS heroes, but then again that might be because NLs have more expensive equipment. If they do outDPS, then I apologize, since I have not done calculations, just talking from what I'm used to seeing.

Basically, it depends on the gear. I do know it's almost impossible for anyone but a red-katana hero to out-damage a NL overtime, whereas a RK hero has quite the ability to. With SE, NL wins hands down. Bowmasters are close to NL, but I'm not 100% sure because nobody ever really compares bowmasters to hero and I'm far too lazy to.

NL are still prefered at bosses though, even if they're weaker than heros ; it's just for their 5 minute longer apples.

Oh, BMs with their own Sharp Eyes are way higher than a No-SE Night Lord. About MMs I do not know, just know about BMs.

Well, if not that then it'd have to be opposite weapon Mastery or something. It'd be like a... 1.25 hybrid page. Nah, I don't think so, I'll go with Iron.

The main point wasn't where to put the leftover points anyhow. What I meant is, if FA is what makes WKs weaker in 3rd, then skip it.

What makes WKs weaker is training on Kentaurs and Wyverns while DK/Crusaders are killing Wolf Spiders, Gobies and Himes. Current neutral/holy monsters are generally a lot better exp+drops than fire/ice/lightning ones.

I wouldn't say FA makes you weaker at Wyverns, it's only bad on maps where you can hit 6 monsters consistently (Gobies come to mind) and most of the wyvern map will be 1-3 monsters until you get Rush.

Depends on whether you include Venom or not. Typical single target DPS breakdown of MM, BM, NL, and Heroes not counting cross-class buffing would be:

BM > Hero > MM > NL

NLs have Venom, though, so in solo training they would actually be higher up there. Not sure exactly how high.

Who the heck are all these people voting for the Loladin class? Most broken, piece of pumpernickel class in existance. Man I can't wait for Dukus to come out to further show just how terrible Loladins are.

At any rate, I think the Hero/Dark Knight classes are both good in their own ways. Smile

I think those voting are Heros/DKs who don't want prices of their equips to go up.

Anyhow, people will realize when WKs are broken by having to buy their ACB skill book from a Zak guild instead of earning one. Tongue

I've trained both a 9x WK and an 8x DK (and a 14x bishop but I guess that doesnt count). I created my WK last year, and my DK this year. This may not be what most people's experiences have been, but I leveled my spearman faster than I leveled my page.

However it seemed more tedious to level my spearman, possibly because it was hybrid and did not have that slick FA animation, or possibly because I've been spoiled by the various new party quests that have come out this past year.

In my third job, though, I'm finding it more enjoyable training my DK. Crusher and fury seem like more welcome changes to power strike and slash blast. I've yet to get either one to fourth job yet.
