RDal Wrote:Life doesn't equal running around in high school with your fake little girlfriend that you are only with because you want to show the other fake little people with fake little girlfriends you also have the ultimate "trophy of maturity" (a fake relationship with a girlfriend who is just trying to impress the same fake little people you are). Don't think that just because you're not the pinnacle of popularity in high school that you are doomed to a life of misery.

Just wait it out. Don't go looking for a relationship, because then you're just going to end up settling for one out of desperation, and it is going to end bad. Just keep going through things and eventually, the right girl will find you. It's the same with true friends, except a lot less sexual.

You're being really rude to this guy. You don't know enough about him to call his life "fake" because he might really just be entering the dating game; lots of dumb $hit happens to people that date in their mid-20s, fake has nothing to do with it. In any case, beating on a depressed guy -- 15 or not 15 -- is just plain not nice and you should cut it out.

OP: Suicide is usually brought on by really traumatic events and clinical depression. For example, a German multi-billionaire killed himself after the stock market crash because he lost a LOT of money. Other people are unable to survive the death of a loved one, (father, wife, etc.) However, suicide is never a good solution because time heals things, your situation stabilizes and you get joy from things in life that you probably haven't even considered yet.

Ehh suicide is a good option if the after life is better than life.
But I havent been told by any church yet that tells me the after life is the same.

First weigh the pros/cons of afterlife then decide whether you wanna die.

Also considerthe fact that you may be stuck on earth after you die (be a ghost)

Then consider whether or not you REALLY WANT TO MAKE PACALS GAMBLE

the first thing you need is a change of attitude, stop with the "life sucks" and "my future sucks" look at it from another light, find something wort doing and go for it.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

You think that having the perfect partner will make your life so much better, and it really wont. In a perfect relationship, there is no wrong, no mistakes, and that is boring. If you have everything you want that what do you live for? Nothing.
You need to set goals for yourself, and these goals will take time to accomplish. This will also give you something to do and to look forward to in your life.

I'm sure everyone has thought about suicide. I know I have. It's a common phase growing up if you're at a point in which you're incredibly stressed because things just aren't getting any better. I know people that suicided that were either friends of friends, or people that got killed by others that I personally know. Suicide is never a good solution, however, it is a way to get away from reality if you really think you have absolutely nothing left. I'm against suiciding, because you have a future and life ahead of you. Hell, you're friggin 15. You have so much potential to go out there and do things. Little by little, a single person can always change the outcome of the future.

When I was your age, I thought about suicide. Not lying. Even now, I dislike my parents since we argue almost every week, but I don't think about suiciding since I figured out it was just a phase of growing up, and everyone has to go through it at one point or so. My answer to you is to just duke it out and toughen it up. Things might get better or worse, but just find a purpose for yourself. That's what I did.

High school isn't only about girls, you know. You've got the rest of your life (well, maybe not the senior citizenry part) for girls. High SCHOOL, focus on your studies and forget about girls. You're going off to college/university/other post-secondary options in about three years anyway.

On topic, suicide is not going to resolve anything. There's plenty to see and do; things you haven't ever encountered yet, especially given the way you've described yourself. Suicide just says you're not willing to give it all a chance.

As others have said, find some interests. Have something to work toward. It might take you far.
