Suicide - Death123141 - 2009-11-29 Is it a reasonable way to end life? I'm 15 and I have almost no friend I've had one girl friend but we broke up in 3 days and she got all dramatic. Is there really anything worth living for? Suicide - Bacon - 2009-11-29 Other girls. Suicide - Sarah - 2009-11-29 I personally think suicide is justifiable but only in very, very dire situations (euthanasia, for example. Most euthanasia isn't actually suicide rather than a pity killing but those on the receiving end of it want it so that's why I used it) but losing your girlfriend and having no friends is no reason to kill yourself. Suicide - Providence - 2009-11-29 I don't mean to sound condescensive in the slightest, but you're 15. In general, life will always seem to suck at that age. Just give it time. Suicide - TøbiasBlack - 2009-11-29 living in spite of others. gets me through. just tell yourself youre better than everyone else and can do better than them. then do it, so when theyre beneath you, you can look down and laugh. laugh in glee at their plight. Suicide - sicnarf - 2009-11-29 You're only 15; there's way more ahead of you that you have no clue about. Sometimes, you might think that you're stuck at rock bottom and can't get any higher, but when you think about it in the future, you'll realize that things do improve over time and that you would've missed out on lots of things if you did cut your own life short. Suicide - Huggablehobo - 2009-11-29 during teen years, losing someone dear to your heart or having the feeling of loneliness can cause them to consider suicidal thoughts. just think about your surroundings, family, friends, relatives. people in your community that actually care about you. if you ever feel down, take a new path in life instead of following the one your currently on. example; change your personality to be more outgoing and enthusiastic, so you'll make friends much easier. learn to not always depend on others as a life support, but be strong and independent. put it all in the past, and look toward the future. EDIT: and imo, suicide isnt only a horrible way to go, because its homicide on yourself, and the way i think of it, your also killing your future kids. because for all we know, you're gonna have kids in the future, and cutting your life short wont allow them to exist. (sorry, i always look into the future) Suicide - Rick - 2009-11-29 Life doesn't equal running around in high school with your fake little girlfriend that you are only with because you want to show the other fake little people with fake little girlfriends you also have the ultimate "trophy of maturity" (a fake relationship with a girlfriend who is just trying to impress the same fake little people you are). Don't think that just because you're not the pinnacle of popularity in high school that you are doomed to a life of misery. Just wait it out. Don't go looking for a relationship, because then you're just going to end up settling for one out of desperation, and it is going to end bad. Just keep going through things and eventually, the right girl will find you. It's the same with true friends, except a lot less sexual. Suicide - Heidi - 2009-11-29 Death123141 Wrote:Is it a reasonable way to end life? Just a suggestion here. I'm guessing that you have few friends in highschool. Have you considered joining groups/ clubs where you might meet some people with similar interests that you might get on with? Suicide - Bacon - 2009-11-29 Settle down in Southperry. Chat on IRC and you'll make at least 20 new friends. Suicide - Super_cyp - 2009-11-29 You're 15, think of something you want to do and work for it. A holiday, joining a sports team, art, music.. Find something that you love creating and do it. I personally love drawing, it's about the only thing keeping me sane in this world. I love drawing when I feel sad, I can portray my emotions as I want to..If I'm happy I can do the same.. Drawing how I feel usually conveys a better image, then when I'm drawing the opposite of how I feel. It's my escape from reality, as are video games and reading... Find your escape, take it and build on it.. Suicide isn't really and escape I see it more as running away nowadays.. Though being pushed into a wall and asked WHY?! does sort of knock some sense into you.. Good luck. "trophy of maturity" I liked hugging her and spending time with her but she decided to be a dramatic peach so shut the pineapple up. Heidi Wrote:Just a suggestion here. The main thing I do is play Maple. I don't really do much else but I do have a few "friends" Bacon Wrote:Settle down in Southperry. Chat on IRC and you'll make at least 20 new friends. I might. And to add onto this no friend really knows me I've never hung out with people outside of school, most people don't really talk to me for more then a year I'm more of a loner, I'm on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills. "trophy of maturity" I liked hugging her and spending time with her but she decided to be a dramatic peach so shut the pineapple up. I never said she was yours. From what you've told me, you were hers. I know it's not easy to hear. As for your having no friends and such, there is a much bigger world than school. My friends at school were mostly not 'true' friends, but one thing that did help was I took up a hobby. Heidi is right about that. Do you like music? I took up an instrument, and I started doing music things outside of school. High school can have a limited palette of people, but if you find something you like and you join a group or something that is dedicated to it, then you're almost certain to meet more people like you. I've met some great people through music, some real friends. One of them is actually moving cities with me next year, and we're going to spend a lot more time together exploring a new world. I know it's cliche'd, but you've just gotta get out there. And there's nothing wrong with playing Maple, so I hope you don't think that. The only thing I really do is play Maple I don't think there is anything wrong with it but alot of people are judgmental. Suicide - Rick - 2009-11-29 I know the only thing you do is play Maple. But what I'm suggesting is take up something else as well, something that also interests you (not suggesting you quit Maple, unless you want to). It helps you meet people that are like you, as opposed to high school where you may find yourself an outsider. And I'm also disappointed at the people who judge us for playing an MMO. We sit in front of our computers interacting with millions of people and some people say we have no lives. Why is the same not said about someone who spends all their time in their room reading, or painting or something? Double standards, gotta love 'em
Suicide - Alloy - 2009-11-29 First of all, suicide for that is the most stupid move you can do. You have craploads of time ahead, and it's not worth it to throw it away for any random overreactive girl. Just SPEND THAT TIME PROPERLY. That means less Maple, too. Ya, I havn't really done anything else but video games because they don't interest me and my "friends" don't really hang out or talk to me. I wouldn't kill my self over the girl it's just that there seems to be no other options with girls they are either taken or there is some problem with going out with them, I have almost no friends and a very dim future. Suicide - Rick - 2009-11-29 Well there isn't really much more I can say to you about your current situation. I'm sure there is something you're interested in, everyone is interested in something. I can't TELL you what you're interested in, you'll have to find that out for yourself. But just remember, suicide isn't the answer you need. You're only 15, you will find your place, and you have plenty of time to do it. You have in no way run out of options for people to be with, it's just the people at your high school may not be for you. But the world has billions of people, people you are yet to meet. There are friends out there for everyone, and there is a special person for everyone. Good luck with it. I recommend sports or something that would keep you fit. Not only does it make you feel good about yourself, it really helps you to focus on things. Then you'll feel more comfortable to socialize with other people and make new friends. Plus the girls really dig it! |
