[TECHNIQUE] Rush-through

rush cannon is fun. pretty sure you only have the first frame of the monster's magic attack to pull this off. and i've only done it at skeles.

I'll make a training video when I get a better Fraps (or a keygen f3). It's a lot more of a situational thing, but it's still good to know.

Fooled around with it a bit on my Paladin, I guess the thing is that it's much easier with a Normal weapon than Slow.. I always regarded it as annoying to rush through stuff instead of attacking it, since typically it'll be 1 to 2 monsters staying still, the rest pushed (and me in the middle)


I also need to FRAPS the problem I have with Rush, that is, on large mobs (4+) I keep running into them while they're sliding. With 2 I can rush from right next to them, with 3 I have to stand a bit back, and with 4 or more I have to stand so that after the rush, I am in a place where no monsters would be at any point. It cuts the effectiveness of Rush in half.

[color="#cc8899"]Demonstration video = focused entirely on the technique, not killing speed. I use it frequently when training/bossing (CWKPQ at Rellik is extremely useful for dodging his attacks, and if done perfectly could be useful at PB).

Anyways, when incorporated into normal fighting, it's a useful way to move around without pushing monsters. And stance and rush are for entirely different things (Stance for staying in one spot, Rush for moving). My Rush is also maxed out, and can do up to 17k damage. It's a great finisher after Crusher, considering it is a hell of a lot faster than my other skills and moves me to the next mob as well. At ToT, it also stacks a mob and racks up damage pretty quickly, all while helping me dodge some hits if I am careful enough (and considering I kill faster there than some AM/Bishop friends of mine, I'd say it's worth it).
