Current state of KMST JOB Balance - hamad138 - 2011-03-19
Green: Balanced
Orange: Slightly unbalanced (weaker)
Orange with slighly Red: Balance is needed
Red : Balanced is very needed.
Warrior: After the new Balance, They are all well Balanced!

Bowmans: This Classes have top DPM. Just Wild Hunters are the Problems. Bowmaster have nothing Special against a WH. The Adventure Bowmans need a slightly Rebalance.

I don't think it's exactly meaningful to put out something like this when it's pretty obvious that KMST is going to revamp each major job class a category at a time. Just sit back and watch the show.

=> Str needs a cap in how much wdef it can generate. In combination with potential + shield mastery + other def skills, it's possible to take only 1 touch damage from bosses like Zakum / Horntail, which is retarded...

-> Is supposed to be weak -> Needs more gain from HS for themselves though (twice what it is now, so helping party = still good exp) -> HS duration needs to be increased -for party members only-, so Bishop needs to spam HS more. :+)

-> Is supposed to be master of elements / DoT damage -> Needs more DoT damage.
AM Fire
-> Is supposed to be master of elements / DoT damage -> Needs more DoT damage.

-> Assassinate needs serious revamp: 4 hits without need to move + option of using it without DS while still doing top tier dmg. Venom needs boost (stack 3 times again plz...). Shadow Shifter needs boost, since avoid sux atm...

-> Removal of Venom would rebalance this class a bit.

I would be very surprised if they did not further tweak with warriors. Paladins are quite fine as is, but the other two could use some work with regards to many concerns brought up in the original extraction thread.
But I'll wait patiently and complain later if it goes official.

Let's see if we can turn this silly first post into a legitimate discussion.
At the moment, I feel that either Paladins need to lose some of their ability to absorb massive amounts of damage, or that Heroes and DrKs need a nudge or two in the right direction... I'd like to see DrKs get a solid single target move in 4th job.

I have a few pieces of criticism, not to be rude but more to "balance" the integrity of the information.
-I/L Mages are actually powerful, just underplayed.
-Shadowers (With ME especially) are EXTREMELY strong, especially where there are multiple mob/bosses.
-Night Lords after they got their buff with Chaos, are not weak at all, they could use a little more ignore PDR tho.
I think you're view of "balance" is skewed to a point where any class that is not weak is balanced. Corsairs, for example Corsairs are in my opinion overpowered. I know Corsairs who have 80% less %stat than me yet still do 80-100k/cannonball without 5 dice (30% boss) and STILL attack faster than me. When they get invincible ship... I think that goes too far.

Due my experience in kms ,I have to admit , that dbs are Overpowered. But u have to pay for the skills, so i Think they deserve it.

Dark Knights still need some tweaks imo. Sacrifice has practically no range compared to Blast and IS so its not as practical.
Mechanics and DBs are still overpowered, especially Mechanics. Not just talking about DPS. Mechanics have 100% Stance, a powerful party buff, and great training skills. They're too well-rounded in comparison to other classes.

Regardless, warriors aren't balanced still, solely due to the defense system. While they can all dish out some heavy damage, Paladins still have legit godmode when potential'd out the ass since STR = DEF.
