I don't know what they were thinking when they were designing Lumiose City. It's the saddest, pineappleing more frustrating aspect of the game so far. The camera is complete and utter pomegranate, and they designed so many alleys and made the city into a pineappleing circle so chances are you're going to lose your bearings at some point. If they were smart they'd redesign it entirely for the next game if there is one. Holy pomegranate this city is pineappleing garbage.

Whose Safari had that combo? I went into one and the two Pokemon in it were Wartortle/Krabby as well. It may be obvious, but I have a feeling Pokemon that appear in a Safari are the same for everyone with that friend. For reference, the name of the person (idk if it's in-game name or friend code name) was Alex. If this is true maybe we could compile a list of Friend Safari Pokemon.

Well, I just started my breeding even though I'm not done with the main game yet.
I'm currently breeding a bunch of Skrelps, so let me know if anyone needs one ^^.
I'm not sure what Skrelp would be handy for. From the looks of it, it has the stats to be a mixed sweeper, Attack and Sp. Att stats are about the same. The first one I fished out had these stats:
Lv25, Timid Nature
HP: 66
Att: 35
Defense:37
Sp Att: 37
Sp Def: 38
Speed: 24

The next one I fished out had a modest nature, and its Sp Att was at 42. Thinking it works the same as before, so I attached an Everstone to the parent that has the modest nature and plan to make a sp attacker but it feels odd. Its movepool is also somewhat shallow, lacking any significant boosting or support moves like dragon dance, calm mind, or swords dance. Also from what I've read, Dragalge cannot learn ice beam, but it can learn thunderbolt.

On another note, I discovered that some attacks can sometimes interact with the background in pokemon battles. For an example, you can see a tree with berries in the background. Using something like gust or hurricane in battle can knock them down for you to pick them up after. I picked up random power herbs from other areas too. I imagine there's probably other stuff like that elsewhere.

So I was chaining Goomy and then this weird music other than the regular PokeRadar music started playing. Sounded like I was running out of time. I didn't see a shiny patch either.. If this meant I missed a shiny patch and a potential shiny Goomy, I'm going to be one sad hunter. :c

This reminded me of the time I was playing Megaman Starforce 3 and wasn't aware of Omega level bosses rarely giving an ominous music to the area they inhabit. I was so scared I exited the Wave World only to research it 3 minutes later and realize I missed an Omega boss.

Working on getting through everyone's Safari. Hoping it really is tied down to FC. The name listed is the name that shows up when asking to enter a Friend Safari

Edit: The Quilladin I caught has its Hidden Ability Bulletproof - Protected from all Ball and Bomb attacks, and the Spearow I caught has its Hidden Ability Sniper - Critical damage is 3x rather than 2x.
Edit2: Updated the table after finishing all the people I was missing. Still need a bunch of 3rd Poke's.

It is tied to Friend Codes. A couple of my friends deleted eachother and re-added and it was the same.

Also one of my friends told me that I was Ground type in the Safari and he also encountered Wooper and Nincada, so I assume it is indeed tied to FC.

Somewhere around 35 hours in now (read it wrong earlier, should have been somewhere around 30 hours instead of 22; I was looking at the actual time instead), and I'm at the latter half of Route 8. With my main team around level 30. Overlevelling ftw?

p.s. Part of the reason why I'm taking so long is because I mixed up the stat up/down colours on the status screen; red usually means danger/reduction so I thought my Kirlia's Nature raised Sp. Attack (which was in blue)...so yeah. I had to breed and retrain it. It was fully EV trained to boot, argh.

The Elite Four was honestly one of the easier ones I've seen in a Pokemon game. They just give you such an easy way to level with the experience share.

I'm just now starting the Looker side quests. So far, they're honestly really tedious. I HATE traveling around Luminose City.
