GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - summer - 2009-02-11 rewards... SE 30 and ancient book... are the 2 things we REALLY need right now >.> (we = me ... more like) GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - holyforest - 2009-02-11 Deviant Wrote:Hackers and botters are generally among the population that cant navigate he phantom forest, dont do quests, and wouldnt be able to solve any puzzles in this PQ. Well unfortunately, there are some pretty "intelligent" hackers in Mardia. I don't mean like really really smart, but smarter then other hackers. So, this is my concern. And it's better for everyone anyways if nexon bans all of them before the patch. Then we don't have to worry about the dodo hackers too. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Rick - 2009-02-11 Before you get ahead of yourself wondering if bigger = stronger than HT, remember that we probably have to fight it with 6 people. Unless they release it like Zakum or HT with a sign up sheet... which I am REALLY hoping they don't. Remember this, he says there will be multiple bosses, and tthe magazine article said multiple bosses at once as well. Its likely that the grandmasters are the bosses, maybe this is there too, but that'd be a LAGGGGY bossfight. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Star Drake - 2009-02-12 Takebacker Wrote:I don't get it either. Because the idol/boss of the keep has 4 arms? Exactly. CWK monsters are corrupted versions of the originals. Since windreaver, stormbreaker, firebrand and nightshadow were created in the image of the original branches, crimson guardians would have been a corrupted form of chirstopher crimsonheart so we should have guessed that christopher crimsonheart had 4 arms. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Kabanaw - 2009-02-12 Wow, awesome =O and I like the needing people from every job thing. It means I'll get to go even though I don't have l33t hax0rs dmg! This being released and the scout update in TF2.... I'll be spending a month at my PC with this. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Johnnywup - 2009-02-12 That statue is christopher? GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - CloudStrife - 2009-02-12 The 5 weapons glowing could represent a room for each class like the thief room has monsters that a hermit/NL could take a hit and the warrior room could need different elements hence including paladins, this may apply to a mage room too ,what i mean is that the statue may be killed in parts with each of the five classes killing a part of the statue, anyways it looks great and i think i should keep on leveling too. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - NoJobNoRules - 2009-02-12 Branching off of the 'signpost' idea, maybe you have to move and kill a 'statue', but it is based off of a specific job or grandmaster? Meh. Anyone have guesses on the time limit? I'm just going to throw out an hour to an hour and a half to complete the whole PQ - and, assuming they don't go easy, you're looking at a nice, long, 45 minute PQ....if no one dcs. :X GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Cyanne - 2009-02-12 WingZero Wrote:Just wondering, but what makes a room unique that only a hermit/NL can do, and not an archer? A gap that requires flash jump. If you're talking about thieves in general, they could put invincible monsters at the edge of the platform so that shadowers could clear the gap with assaulter. Haste for example? i know archers have similar Hp to thiefs but i have never played an archer so i dont know much about them but its up to nexon to figure out a way to include every class and use their skills(puppet for archers maybe?) hopefully nexon will keep in mind that not every archer and thief can HP wash to be able to survive if you can understand me. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - IsaacGS - 2009-02-12 I've got some evidence to support the "Giant statue is a boss" theory: ![]() MaxHudson mentioned remembering this, so I dug through my SSes and sure enough, it's mentioned. actually, I'm going to upload as many Jack Barricade screens as I can and make a thread for them. There may be some things other people can find that I missed. There's a lot of substantial stuff here though. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Kevo - 2009-02-12 summer Wrote:rewards... SE 30 and ancient book... are the 2 things we REALLY need right now >.> (we = me ... more like) Haha, I think you BM's got it totally easy already with SE20 as it is. Should have leveled up sooner back when se30 was 20mil and green book 7mil f3. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - WingZero - 2009-02-12 Cyanne Wrote:A gap that requires flash jump. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Deviant - 2009-02-12 PLease no FJ requirements, if you need one of each class that screws over shadowers =_= GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Chompy - 2009-02-12 CloudStrife Wrote:Haste for example? i know archers have similar Hp to thiefs but i have never played an archer so i dont know much about them but its up to nexon to figure out a way to include every class and use their skills(puppet for archers maybe?) hopefully nexon will keep in mind that not every archer and thief can HP wash to be able to survive if you can understand me. I was thinking forced smokescreen. Like a warning and then 1 min of an undodgeable 99999 full screen attack. ![]() For Paladins Require Heaven's Hammer (somehow) and for Xbow pierce. Elemental far away enemies for AMs
GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - Shidoshi - 2009-02-12 thiefs - dark sight mages - ultimate's range? or a permanent super wdef monster... or elements warrior - high damaging hits, stance. archers - puppet can't think of anything else that would make it impossible for any other class to complete it. my mage suggestion, except for super wdef, could be filled by a DK or Paladin. The warrior one could fit a mage too, because of magic guard. And I didn't want to try including much of 4th job stuff seeing as this might not be only 120+. GM BLOG The Battle of Crimsonwood Keep - WingZero - 2009-02-12 Shidoshi Wrote:thiefs - dark sightI think archers should have range and make the monsters strong against magic attacks. That way only archers can hit them, and not worry about AMs/Bishops |
