Do they work differently? I was under the impression that ALL PDR Ignore worked the same after the Unlimited change, in where they work multiplicative instead of additive.

Divine Charged Blow is 405% * 5 (2025%) to 8 mobs. Blast is 290% * 6 (1740%) to 6 mobs.

I just don't like what they've done to Paladins, which wuld make sense, because I main one. I mean, like somebody said, they can pretty much Guard all day every day now and achieve close to the same effect that they had before (the effect being that they're pretty much going to just brickwall through everything attacking them), but I LOVED having that defense and seeing all those 1 damage hits from bosses that would otherwise wreck my other classes. Oh yeah, and the Charges are totally messed up.

Also the new Blast looks freaking amazing! I bet you would have loved it if it was a blunt weapon instead. I just hope that they are still going to add a different blast animation for each element and that is only just the fire blast animation.

Blunt weapons vs swords are no different from eachother with example empress weapons. (Same speed)
Irl, blunt weapons are more destructive than swords honestly.

And no, If the bw version would have been anything close to this I would have hated it.
Also, why is the weapon inferior? The two handed blunt weapons are ONLY able to be used by paladins while the class isn't even made for them.
Would it really hurt to throw in some bw animations? (Like they did with axes for heroes).

If they can create an entire BaM class and throw it away the next day then i'm sure they've got the time to throw in some bw animations.

How is that even remotely useful at bosses?

EDIT: Turns out the fact that you can also just land 20 hits on bosses was missed. Crisis averted folks Biggrin

I think it's a passive effect giving you like a second chance if you happen to die at a boss?
Not like an active buff I think.. I'm not sure though.

Doesn't it say in the skill description say "or with bosses, must be hit 20 times" there somewhere?

I got that when my friend translated it (She's korean), it's in these patch notes but I don't see em in Max's.

This is what it says apparently:

New! Reincarnation: If your HP reaches 0, use your contract with darkness to ignore death and become invincible for
25 seconds while ignoring the cooldown of Gungnir Descent. If you can defeat 20 monsters before time is up, you will
be revived or else you will die as normal. Passive effect: when your HP is greater than 20%, your damage will be increased
by 30%, speed by 20, critical chance by 20%, and minimum critical damage by 15%. (max level: 30)
