Just started fighting Wallace for my 8th gym badge. Up against his Luvdisc with my Metang, it went like this:

Attack missed
Attack missed, Luvdisc confuses me
Hurt by confusion
Attack missed

also tried to catch a Maractus on a mirage island earlier, it got a critical on its first hit, killing my Sharpedo, then dodged 2 of my attacks in a row.

The RNG full on hates me in this game and it's pissing me off really badly.

31 and a half hours to hall of fame.
So much random grinding added in to that because I didn't want deaths on the team to abruptly halt my progression of the game.

The nuzlocke does not end until I beat the delta doodilidoo however. Once that's out of the way I can go back to randomly exploring, catching whatever the hell I want and breeding pokes.

Kinda lukewarm on it.
I liked the nods that were made towards emerald version, but the insertion of a bunch of sci-fi themed stuff didn't feel really...necessary.

So I was playing last night, trying to catch some Pokemon, and ran into a Mantyke. It sparkled. I stared. I caught it without hurting it knowing it had Take Down. Win.
First caught shiny that wasn't scripted. Excellent

you guys im at the start of the route with the weather institute on it and my pokemon are nearly level 50 and my gloom has already hit 50 and i have no idea how this has happened

Have you been using exp.share? It's set to on automatically when you get it.

I'm at the elite four and all my pokemon are level 49 lol. I turned off exp. share as soon as I got it and didn't do any excessive grinding. The game has actually been really challenging for me.

i have been using it but this is the first game it seems to have broken things... i don't remember being this far ahead with it in Y..

Yeah, I think the levels in X and Y were a little bit higher so it wasn't as noticeable. I saw a lot of people complaining about this game being way too easy and them overlevelling everything by loads. but eh, that's what people get for using the exp. share.

It's a stupid feature really and totally unnecessary unless they actually increase the difficulty of the game, which they won't do.

We got it far to early is should have been something you got 1/2 way through not at the start

Personally I don't think it should be given to you until after the Elite Four. It should be used as a way of levelling pokemon to fill the pokedex, not an easy mode toggle like it is at the moment.

What especially annoyed me is that it is automatically turned on when you acquire it. This along with the removal of Battle Frontier because "people don't like challenge any more" is really... bothering me.

My dream is to have at least the gym leaders and the elite 4 with a full pokémon party, ev trained, perfect iv's and items. At least them, so we can feel like fighting against the "bosses" of the game.

They kinda did it with B/W2, and I really wish they'd do it again, since it makes perfect sense.
