Prove how using the phrase "in preparation for" implies that this is in fact what it is preparing for. I would like to see you try but I will tell you now, it's impossible.

The delay note seems to imply that it is the update, but that doesn't take away from the fact that their word choice was extremely poor in the original notice.

Thread is getting off topic. He's commenting on your poor reasoning skills, infewer words than I, if Big Bang is tomorrow and there is maintenance tonight/tomorrow before Big Bang, then the maintenance is obviously Big Bang, unless you think they are patching after the Maintenance in which case the release date would be the 8th and not the 7th.
