Just a warning to all of you: so I'm pretty picky about my Natures, even when just going through the main campaign of the game, so I decided to save right before you fight the scripted Poochyena with "<Element> Fang". I caught it, checked its Nature (which was absolute pomegranate for it) and Soft Reset... but when I reloaded the game, the game counted as me having scared it away... so yeah; don't do what I did and miss out on a free 'special' Poochyena, so you don't end up having to try to find one out in the wild yourself.

Pre-ordering the game today.

I've been having an internal debate over which starter to start with. but now i'm considering boxing my starter and using the shiny Beldum Tongue

It comes at the same level, why not.

I remember when I got White 2 and the Genesect event was going on that gave you a level 15 one Tongue

I used that for my entire playthrough, was OP as pineapple. Beldum won't be nearly as OP I imagine.

Even if you scare him, you just have to go into town and come back, walk through the grass for a bit and you'll be able to encounter him even if you don't see his tail.

ikr it was suprising to see in my monthly magazine on the release list. Volume 2 in february!

On topic, i hope i can get a Meowth on GTS when i start the game, i kinda wanna use one in my team. I guess there might be more chance to get one since EU gets the game a week later ( ._. )

He gets Aqua Ring, which can undo the damage you do to him.

4 Dead so far. Honestly doing better overall than I did on my last nuzlocke challenge.
Though these deaths have been mostly my own stupidity Tongue

rather than the wonky way critical hits work in Gen 1.
