Melee classes seem like they'll have an upper advantage in the Dynasty Warrior's esque maps where mobs swarm you. Plus the camera makes it easier for a melee to follow their character.

So like MS1?
IMO there isn't more MS can hope to be than that and more if it's 3D(no matter how unique the 3D is) thanks to all the "good" 3D free MMORPG out there.

I don't really keep up with online games but is there any 3D MMORPG out there with the "cutessy" of Maplestory? I mean I have seen none that actually do it right most try to go for a mix between cute, fanservice and badassery and end up in a weird mixup... LIKE THIS GAME. If they had aimed for something like Super Mario 3D world instead of Minecraft, I know at least I would be diying over it.

I find it interesting that cubes are instantly and immediately associated with Minecraft, while that's literally the only characteristic MS2 appears to share with the game.

Also, "Sitting in town and dancing" happens in all games. PSO2 is a great example. Ship 2 Lobby 20, at least when the game started, was literally filled with English players that just sat there spamming obscenities and dance emotes.

The game doesn't need to be "cutsey" for the fanatics to appear.

From what I can tell it's announcement telling how and when supporters will be chosen for testing.
