[COLOR="#0000FF"]I can agree with the decreased hype due to lack of some megas, seeing as I thought Milotic above all other pokemon would definitely get the mega. I know it's a ruby and saphire remake, but I still think that if steven gets a mega on his main, then wallace should too. Wallace has an even greater involvement in that delta episode thing, so I thought it was pretty much confirmed there. Yes, mega flygon, breloom, zangoose/seviper (no but really these guys were so memorable ; - Wink, slaking should have got one too, but my main problem with megas was with Milotic (also why is a mega rayquaza fighting a non-mega deoxys? oh well).

The REAL thing that killed the hype was no frontier. When I heard oras was coming I immediately thought battle frontier. First and final thought. Easily spent over 300 hours on battle frontier alone in emerald. I would have easily traded delta for a sexified battle frontier, however I know a lot of people won't be with me on that one.

All the other features are keeping my hype above 80/100 (cause let's be real, no way I can't be hyped about a pokemon game, but it should be 120/100), but it's just not the same knowing this isn't leading to the sexiest post game in existence.

They could of at least put those mini tents around the game that had mini frontier facilities, like the double battle one area in slateport, or the other one in verdanturf. Memory is fuzzy, but it was something like that.
If those were added, they could of easily upgraded them post game, so they were all someone near the individual areas of the real frontier.

Hope they tease the next games soon or toss us some dlcs or something. Dlc frontier would literally not hurt at all, but it probably won't happen, so I'll just try to forget about it.

In all honesty, maybe the could have shown us a few new megas, and let the rest be up to the players. I'm still pretty happy with mega Gallade and Altaria myself; knowing about them ahead of time has only made me want them more. But I know everyone is different. Maybe people would have liked to hold onto that hope, even if it would ultimately be ill-founded. (And I'm not trying to be facetious- this even happens to me sometimes)

But anyone can feel how they want, I guess. Seeing people getting discouraged and sour over a game they haven't even played themselves yet is sort of offsetting on a subjective level.
Episode Delta is interesting from a story aspect, and it's one of the things i'm excited for in the game obviously, because it is basically a mini sequel inside a remake. It's weird they announced it a week or so before hand though rather than letting people find it themselves.

Eh I dunno, my hype for X and Y was immense and I was getting the game regardless. It was the first main 3D pokemon game, set in a new region with new pokemon and introducing mega evolutions, fairy type and character customization, it was super exciting. It's not until after that I realized that to make up for all this awesome stuff they added, certain aspects of the game were lacking (such as the post-game) and it kind of burnt me out on the game.

ORAS was exciting too, and if I hadn't gotten burnt out on X and Y the new stuff they are adding would have excited me more, but for some reason all I can see is the negatives at the moment like the lack of a battle frontier (which I was looking forward to trying now that i'm better at the game than I was so many years ago) and the removal of character customization.

I suppose whats contributing to my lack of hype is the fact that Europe is getting the game a week later than the rest of the world, and I can't actually afford the game at the moment.

Decided to dust off the ole 3DS, being hyped for ORAS and all. Looked all day and couldn't find the frigging charger. Great. Dead 3DS and chargerless 2days before release. Anybody know a place (in Canada) where I could buy one quickly? Even though I live in a super rural area.. fml.

It's apparently for the west to get it the same time as eastern Canada since they're 3 hours ahead. So, really, it's not an early release.
