I don't think any of us like random lynches. I particularly think lynching on the first day is usually a waste of time unless someone got something informative the night before. And since our detective got killed, we all know that's not happening unless there's a second one around. >_< Anyway, I'm just not going to vote again and leave things as is. I will note that I'm still suspicious of you Meph, since there's no real way to prove you and dark are lovers short of your death, but that's not enough to vote for either of you yet.

The day was full of suspicious glares and "arrr"s. The ship's mood was greatly impacted by the lack of rum, and things started to get ugly with wild accusations being shot out all over the place. Eventually, the majority of the pirates settled upon Old Hobb, the oldest member of the crew. He didn't put up a fight, partly out of the realization that it was hopeless and partly because of his age. When the dinner bell rang, two of the crew dragged Hobb to the cap'n with all the others following.
"So this be one o' them ninjas, then?" "Arr, that he be, cap'n," replied Gibbs. He threw Old Hobb down at the cap'n's feet. "So be it then." A single shot rang out, and Old Hobb was no more. Gibbs and Jack quickly searched Hobb's body, but came up completely empty-handed. There was nothing on Hobb's body to indicate anything more than that he was a simple pirate.
There was a brief silence, broken by the cap'n. "Gibbs. Jack. You two be takin' over Jimmy's cleaning detail until I say otherwise. And no complaints, or I be throwin' ye to the sharks meself. No more mistakes next time. I want these ninjas dead!" The cap'n returned to his cabin once again, leaving the crew to clean up the corpse of Old Hobb and get themselves to the mess for dinner. Jimmy, though horrified to see what was happening to the Esmeralda, silently thanked the cap'n for not making him clean up the body.

Ray died today. He was Old Hobb, your busdriver. YOU GUYS NEVER LET ME HAVE ANY FUN. D: Anyway, it's night now, so get them actions in. If I get them all soon, night will end soon. If not, it may run a little past noon EST tomorrow - I have a class from 10:55-12:40.

After mess was over and Jimmy's duties were taken care of, he wandered back up on deck for a moment before heading to bed. He was disappointed to see that he couldn't gaze up at the stars - a thick fog had rolled in, and he couldn't see more than 100 feet in any direction. As he was about to head belowdecks, he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. Jimmy looked out into the fog, and for a split second thought he saw a faint outline of a ghostly ship with tattered sails. Then, as quickly as it had appeared, it sank back into the fog. Jimmy shook his head, convinced he had imagined it, and headed off to sleep.

The cap'n was pacing in front of the body of Jack O'Hoolihan. He had been discovered in the early morning dangling from the rigging, his throat slit. Horrible, though Jimmy, right after what happened last evening too. The crew was silent - the only sound was from the ocean around them and the occasional curse word spat from the cap'n's mouth as he paced. Finally he stopped and looked up. "I told ye all last night - no more mistakes. This be another good man o' me crew dead now, and I won't be havin' another follow him. Find me them damned ninjas, or so help me I'll kill every last one o' ye just to be rid of them for good! Now get to your duties!"
The crew scattered, with Jimmy hurrying ahead of the others. He wanted to be as far from the cap'n as he could - the man had quite a temper.
