Their Maplestory page only has four sentences on the "plot", and has not been updated much since Big Bang. Pretty out of date at this point, 3 years of content behind.

Yeah the pic says Q1 and Q2 keep in mind were in the middle of Q2 , and the 2nd half could be anything maplestory 2 could be in the 3rd Q instead of the 4th so whatever

We are 8 days into Q2, that is hardly "the middle". MapleStory 2 is shown as sometime in the middle of the second half, which means it can't possibly be in the next 1-3 months, as those only bring us a week into Q3.

As for how much is known about the game before its release: that is Nexon's marketing decision. They might decide to post the whole story and gameplay videos, or they might decide to keep it all secret until the very day of release. We'll just have to wait patiently and see.

His point was that "1-3 months" can't possibly be correct. 2H 2014 means at the earliest possible is July. The earliest possible date is almost exactly 3 months from now.

Personally, I don't think we can expect real gameplay until November. G-STAR, the biggest gaming exhibition in Korea will start in early November.

G-STAR is the ideal place for Nexon to announce beta and show demos of MapleStory 2. I might be wrong. Nexon does have some good new title to announce besides MapleStory 2. Time will tell. Chin

Not that hard, actually. In fact, I think Chibis add a lot more sexual appeal. Chicken leg thighs and hourglass waists are more feasible on Chibi than realistic.

I wonder how long it will take it to come over seas after it is initially released in Asia. I wouldn't expect it to take it as long as the original Maplestory, and I don't see them having too many balancing issues (Blade&Soul). I hope this one requires a bit more skill than holding down a skill button though.

And you can clearly see that it is what they are trying to sell here, given the amount of gratuitous hips and thighs we are being slapped in the face with. You'd think Maplestory of all games would be one that would try to avoid the blatant sexploitation of MMORPGs.
