However, suppose there was another factor at work that decreased the homicide rate that over-compensated for the removal of capital punishment. In this case, capital punishment might lower the homicide rate even more. Im for it, but on the other hand i dont trust our government. Personally im basing my thoughts on my Christian morals, in which God actually gives the government some rights to punishment, including execution. Thats just me however, i dont expect others to think the same way.
