If you're suggesting that the screen is so old that the entire game has been rebuilt and it's back to being something other than the 2.5 to 3D gamestyle, you're fucking nuts.

Why do I think that? Every year the GStar convention (equivalent to the E3 Expo in North America) is hosted in South Korea and large companies including Nexon showcase their new games. It's very possible that Nexon will show everyone MapleStory 2 and Mabinogi 2.
There's absolutely no reason they would have to wait seven months to release the full game.

Oh and back to the topic.. Yes i will try it but 2.5/3D Maplestory doesn't seem quite right lol but should be interesting to try out.

So it looses the 'charm' of 2D and becomes comparable to the other 3D games out there.
Given the amount of time and money players put into the first maplestory, I'm not seeing this one being much of a success despite 3D having
possibilities of improved gameplay (pve/pvp) and more interesting mechanics for other things such as bossing.
Need to see more details about the game (classes, skills, monsters, leveling) before deciding whether or not to skip it.

I would try it, but I don't expect to like it since one of the things I really like about MS is the 2D easy to understand and I can zone out while I play it thing. I use it to unwind after work. Trying to understand some of these 3D games is like a headache. But Nexon will likley pick up lots of kids who love 3D games. Maybe after that only old people will play MS 2D.
But overall I don't think I would like to start all over, such a lot of work.

I apologize for the assumption but even if their games are beautiful and work perfectly, I'm sorry to say but the management is more important to me than the actual game. I've sworn off them because they aren't dependable, they aren't honest, and they take every initiative to remove any contact/connection/resolution. They take weeks to even establish they have a problem lol

Anyway, a question for folks that answered that you won't play MS2: Is it merely because you're just jaded from how badly GMS is in? Would your opinion change if you were playing one of the other MapleStory versions (JMS and KMS being notable examples)?
