Really nexon?... There better be a major boost to I/L next update. >=/ Mathematical Analysis of Magicians and DoT Post-Jump - Green4Ever - 2011-04-18 Shidoshi Wrote:This is awesome, makes me feel proud for sticking to F/P, though I don't doubt the skill will be seeing a nerf in the next KMST patch. I'll be seeing it x3 if they don't nerf the skill
Mathematical Analysis of Magicians and DoT Post-Jump - Chilly - 2011-04-18 Goodness, that's a bigg-a meatball! I still am curious if I (an L/I) throw down some DoTs on a monster what destruction you could reek, of course, I'm sure the damage cap will be reached, but what theoretical number can I expect, let's see...Blizzard, Glacial Chains, Ice Demon, what will these buy me? Synergy! Enough gushing...it's time to turn Glacial Chains into Snipe or some semblance of it. WHOA WHOA WHOA this is nothing but short of insane! All I'm seeing here is insanely high and scarily crazy numbers. In comparison with the top tier DPS classes like Mechs/Dual Blades/Night Lords/Wild Hunters/Bowmasters do the newly revamped F/P Archmage stand a chance to be in such a tier? I think they'll have to nerf the damage bonus that DoT gives Mist Eruption since it is completely imbalanced when compared with I/Ls. Otherwise, Mages should be on par with what Warriors have gotten, if not better off in terms of training as well as single target. Given that Elemental Reset lets them attack with no disadvantage, they can output as much as their %/s dictates, which is rather high. In terms of their overall damage though, I can't say because it depends on how well Magic Damage scales compared to Physical Damage ranges. So if you had a magician with the same damage range as a warrior, the magician should be doing a bit better I believe. I want to say this was balanced under the assumption that it is more difficult to get a higher range with a magician than a warrior as well as other small details about each individual job. Mathematical Analysis of Magicians and DoT Post-Jump - yo72 - 2011-04-18 If mist explosion isnt nerfed, they need to abandon Glacial Chains! Don't scrap it into a new skill just abandon it and save it for a new class or something. And give I/L a passive to all their skills, such as a skill that adds another 1 maybe 2 hits to all skills at same or lower % or a secondary amp on electric based attacks. |
