hmm not to sure what you mean by that , unless youre talking about 3d glasses or something Biggrin

either way i`ll speak for myself then .. I know I miss 2007-2009 for sure , MY glory years at least .. I have so many months spread out from the past 8 years that I haven't played maple for like 2-3 combined years total , either way tho I missed the whole 2013 and I can just say maple is not as fun now adays , the community is no where as good as it was.. Parties revolve around getting bishops together for better exp , and you basically solo .. I sure did like training at forest of golems, kerning PQ Ludi PQ orbis glitch pq , and all that good stuff .. The nostalgic feelings are hard to get rid of when I think back .. I could type forever about the old days of maple

Edit-- So I don't double post

Its Nia.

And again, I'm not liking that it is placed in the past, if there's any logic to it then none of the technological advancements that are in MS1 should be there (Well, populated Victoria island shouldn't either yet it is so...) Also power levels should be weaker than they are now etc .

It might even cause the Black Mage to be the main villain in this period too, which is totally underwhelming

Because it's in the past we may be able to use some forbidden/lost skills/weapons that doesn't exist in the "present".

Through the teaser site, the user 'brimhall4' has said he loves Maple! In addition, he mentioned that many people have been wondering if they'll be able to have fun in MapleStory 2 without paid items.

After the previous Maplestory's monetization policy, items that directly affect in-game content have not been considered for MapleStory 2.

In the case of various in-game convenience features which can be obtained through hard efforts, we are trying to prevent paid items from making the game too easy.

I hope I answered your question a little bit. Stay warm in this cold weather, and please continue to send in your comments on the teaser site!

This time, I'll be talking about MapleStory 2's historical background. Thanks to the users '아리아', 'Maruru', '모모달이', and '동변동' for their comments.

It is already known that MapleStory 2 takes place in the distant past of our previous project. It is the story of an age unknown to current Maple World residents.

The people from the past called the world they lived in, Maple World. They also lived in places all around called 'Henesys', 'Ellinia', 'Perion', and 'Kerning City'.

Although this past has been completely forgotten, the town names are still used today. It seems that Maple World's history is connected to it after all. What is happening in MapleStory 2's world? And are we waiting for a certain event?

Please be patient!

That's good news.
I hope they won't change it eventually.

Cubes aren't that bad, it's just the way they're obtained and how many are needed that is bad.

Cubes aren't that bad now that they are available with Smithing, but before 20$ wasn't enough for something decent

He means the cubing system in general isn't bad, just the way of obtaining them is. I agree. I like the cubing system, and I like that putting hard work into your equipment will make you exponentially better than the next person, but I dislike the way you obtain cubes. The most efficient way to obtain cubes has always been cash shop. And while it's gotten easier over time, the most efficient way (by far) is still cash shop. MapleStory has a long way to go from pay to win, and I don't know if it ever will.

Even cubes from smithing are very unavailable. They're really hard to make for the average player. Confused
