Actually, you can't use that formula to compare damage because the answer of the formula itself isn't referring to damage, but rather the comparison of STR% and WA.

I did some calculations using the formula below from http://ayumilove.net/maplestory-formula/.

Did some calculations for your 9 sets labeled 1.1 - 3.3. Also did further calculations on additional potential, Legendary STR% (12/9/9) 4.1 - 4.3, Rare WA (10/8/8) 5.1 - 5.3, and Legendary WA (16/14/14) 6.1 - 6.3.

Weapon Multiplier * ((4 * Primary Stat) + Secondary Stat) * (Attack / 100)

STR DEX ATT STR% Damage
1.1 2000 410 420 320 157126.20
1.2 2120 410 420 320 166440.12
1.3 2180 410 420 320 171097.08
2.1 2000 410 615 320 230077.65
2.2 2120 410 615 320 243715.89
2.3 2180 410 615 320 250535.01
3.1 2000 410 420 640 275398.20
3.2 2120 410 420 640 291808.44
3.3 2180 410 420 640 300013.56
4.1 2000 410 420 714 302748.60
4.2 2120 410 420 714 320799.86
4.3 2180 410 420 714 329825.50
5.1 2000 410 784 420 362294.24
5.2 2120 410 784 420 383819.74
5.3 2180 410 784 420 394582.50
6.1 2000 410 1036 420 478745.96
6.2 2120 410 1036 420 507190.38
6.3 2180 410 1036 420 521412.58

As you can see, from your 9 sets getting STR% for would be better than WA. But ultimately if you compare more "perfect" STR% and WA values for additional potential you'll see the WA wins in the end.

Hope this helps...

%stat on additional pot isn't 12/9 at legendary for armors. It's 7/5.
