Ambition was always working for weapon classes during the entire time I've been playing, and was broken for magic classes when I started.
I assume it's fixed for magic classes but I might check later.
edit: ok my results say Ambition is broken for mages
edit: this also means I don't have proof that Guardbreak is a seperate source since I was testing that on a mage
