the idea of a stealth tank is dumb as pomegranate. if they were smart they'd use this technology to make Octo Camo like in MGS4 or GITS .
asides from the noise a tank makes and the heat signature. its just a bad idea. then again so is war technology. the moment someone makes something its only a short amount of time before the "enemy" makes the same thing better. constantly improving their own arsenals against the other resulting in more dangerous weapons that will inevitably lead to MAD ( mutualy assured destruction ).
the u.s makes its gun cock bigger, britian does the same + 1, and so forth.
although this cycle is seemingly endless because if one party decides to stop it dosn't mean the other will, infact it is an incentive for them to pursue this even more to have a greater advantage.

stupid idea is stupid.
And war will be less about stealth in 5 years than it is now. Currently all out warfare is more along the lines of "this is unstoppable, suck it peach"

Actually war, as it is, is now as like described in MGS4, a series of proxy battles. Yes there is often a more higher level fight that either makes or breaks the effort, but really how does it all end up? A series of small firefights here and there that pop up day to day, week to week, etc.

Looking forward to weapon tech. it's always interesting what people can think of next. Not a warhawk-esque person, but i enjoy looking at wartime technologies (e.g. the evolution of ranged warfare, close combat weaponry, etc.)

Hell, I think I'm going to marry a Japanese woman just so my son can join the Japan army and take my old ass for a ride in one of those mechs.

pahlease it's one gundam and the official story is that it is not real. However everyone knows it really is and your son would never be allowed to pilot due to not being 100% japanese and a direct decendant of someone or other.
