Eosian Wrote:Just to clarify that it's not me randomly picking and choosing who I feel is active or not;
Active participation will be determined by scoring frequency of site usage in the past 90 days (how many days actively using the forum out of the past 90). I can see that as low as a page by page request basis when I need to. People on the substantially low end of that score (if any) will be disqualified.

So if someone has a total of 10 posts in those 90 days are they considered active? Their hasn't been that many huge discussions and i'm finally out of infarct jail and trying to stay clean.

I'll reiterate this question. I could write an awesome essay in portuguese or french too!

You obviously don't want to be a content tester if you put this much effort into asking for every little nuance spelled out.

If you're actually being serious, or think you are, sorry, I want content testers who are capable of rational thought and using judgment so if you can't figure out this little bit you're not going to make the cut.

Rolleyes

Don't over complicate.

I was thinking more along the lines of PMing an attachment of a title page or something. Sounds silly, but considering how strict you guys are with us following the rules word for word in the contests, better be safe than have my entry invalidated for a silly misinterpretation. Not meant to nitpick or find flaws in the rules, just clarifying there's no strange requirement. Didn't think there would be, but figured I might as well make sure anyway.

Pretty sure they're joking, Eos. My post was fairly stupid and they were probably going along with it.

I think he was making fun of my essay F4.

Then they are sorely overdue for a reminder that this is not the funhouse and if they have nothing on topic to contribute to go elsewhere.

Will you be posting any errors you find while beta testing anything on here in portugese or french? Pretty sure that should answer your question. Considering I'm writing on this forum in English and "I" will be reading them first, that should also answer your question.

Also, no I don't need a "title page". Just having that as the subject of your PM should be sufficient.

I won't be looking at spelling and grammatical errors, though it does annoy me to a large degree and that's what spell check was made for in the technological day and age we live in. Obviously if anyone is posting on this forum, everyone has that capability to look things up.

What is considered site usage? I thought a forum main site usage was based around posts reason i asked. Their are some individuals that are on southperry for more than an hour compared to those who browse/posts in that amount of time. Just wanted a general idea of what the site usage criteria is because i may or not reach them.

So, how many are you guys planning to pick out? Or does that depend on how many entries you get?

I'm guessing its the latter option. Or the mods can leave that number secret. Tongue1

That will ultimately be up to Eos. It will be a relatively small number, but he hasn't stated exactly how many will be chosen. I am now locking this thread since time is up for submissions.

Thank you to everyone who participated. Good luck!!!
