I dunno, I was sorta thinking of Mr. Basil/Adura infiltrating Southperry, and I was thinking of a game where all the roles are known beforehand.

No kills on first night. No IRC for nonmafias, yada yada yada. No clues given?

Suppose there are 20 players:

2 initial Sleepywoodians. One Adura and one other mod, IDC who.

3-4 initial Basilers. One Mr. Basil, 1 mod, 1 idiot, and 1 troll, idiot not required.

Some roles...

Troll (there are plenty of trolls, pick one): Must include in each post an obvious insult or be godkilled. There is one troll in Basil and one troll (or more) in Southperry, initially.

Idiot: Votes for someone during the day, but he actually means someone else completely different (the person who gets voted PMs to host) due to his idiocy.

Adura: Cannot be detected. Can recruit someone to his domain during any point in the game and that person becomes a troll. One shot.

Mr. Basil: Can be detected. Also a detective.

Sleepywood Mod: Hooker

Basilmarket Mod: Can ban someone from talking that day, loses power after X number of nights (every time I go onto Basilmarket, I swear their mod lists changes)

Fiel: By PM to host, secretly forces someone to change his vote due to his hacking skills.

Eos: Vigilant. One or two shots to kill someone.

Rayquaza2233: Detective.

Mira: Can ban person from talking one day.

Synthesist: Town Mute, can only quote (guess who I'll assign this role!)

All I made up so far. Could use some balancing tweaks.

Seems a little forum bashy. lol Also, while completely obvious, you had the same idea for a Synthesist role as I did. However it would be randomly assigned to someone if I ever made the game, along with the other roles. (No one would be themselves.)

Only thing I could see wrong with your set up Corn is that you have a combination Mafia and Cult, which means it's practically impossible to kill them. Recruiting for mafia should be kept to a one shot, and usually on a predetermined person or by sacrificing one of your members.

or heres an idea: Have the game start with Day 0, and require everyone to post an introduction, or something like "I'm here," or else they'll be god-killed. that's something i intended to do if ever i opted to lead a game.

Synthesist would still troll us by posting that he's here but would never really post later.

If I have to, then I'll post, and that's it, and perhaps something to counter what I just said if it incriminates me in anyway...

And no, cause, multiple times - if you ask, even if I got a no-night action one, I PMed the host saying I'm paying attention. So no need?

thats the point. i myself dont care how you play, its evident many times over you are actively playing. that just pisses off the meta-players and the super-serial ones.

you'd have to ask them. personally i love seeing how others react to you, and everyone else. having to play as the mute this game really sucked opened my eyes to the levels of trolling strategy this game has.
