Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - MetaSeraphim - 2010-09-26 If no one else is going to start this party then I will by using a random number generator. And the winner is. . . number 3 which is Jon. Alright, nothing personal, just the number I got. Unless someone else wants to take a shot at it: http://www.random.org/ But for now. [vote] Jon Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Link - 2010-09-26 I did the same thing you did, MetaSeraphim. xd [Vote] Dusk Sorry, Dusk. No hard feelings. The random number generator picked you.
Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Corn - 2010-09-26 I'll wait until they defend until I start voting. Remember how we had 3 detectives last time ha ha? o.O Someone had to post first besides Lord_Xela, but if you're suspicious of me because of that, so be it. It's too early for me to be suspicious of anyone. Also, if you guys read the rules, so long as it's all tied up, there's not going to be a lynch. So if everyone keeps randomly voting for different people, nothing will happen until someone votes for someone twice. Anyway, I used a random generator as well and thus I'll [vote] Darkmaniak. Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Lord Xela - 2010-09-26 >RNG voting >mfw.jpg Anyway, vote count so far: Jon - 1 (MetaSeraphim) Dusk - 1 (ShiKage) Rayquaza2233 - 1 (Holypie) Darkmaniak - 1 (ElectricSix) Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Jon - 2010-09-26 [vote] Kurtle Random generator, no hard feelings bro. :< Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Dual - 2010-09-26 [COLOR="green"]And now we all sit around for a bit and wait for people to respond, leading to nobody finding anything out, but lynching a townie, like always. Gotta admit, this game is going to be interesting with no detective. Every SP mafia game has had detective roleclaims all over the place. I don't think there will be a second one, considering Xela said this would be a vanilla game. I'm also not gonna use the RNG, because it told me to vote for myself. :l[/COLOR] Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - MetaSeraphim - 2010-09-26 Since this isn't getting us nowhere I used the RNG again until I got at least 3 of the same number of the current people who are voted for, that number was 14. No hard feelings/nothing personal, etc. Just what I got by using RNG. [vote] Darkmaniak Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - ThatHurts - 2010-09-26 Just gonna go with meta on this one since no one is saying anything to defend themselves... [b][vote] Darkmaniak Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Russt - 2010-09-26 Is it advantageous to lynch today? On the one hand, lynching is the only way a ninja is going to die (barring any vigilante roles), so we should get to it; and we do only need to be right approximately half the time in order to win. On the other hand, we only have a 1/4 chance at a correct random lynch at the current moment, and we may gain more information later. Remember, an even number of players during the day is favorable to the mafia. Right now there's an odd number, which is favorable to us, so we should keep that advantage with a lynch. [COLOR="green"]Is it we have an advantage if we don't lynch or if we do lynch? I forget how that rule was supposed to go. And Meta, RNG voting is stupid. The mafia will lie about the results. Meaning all you're doing is making it easier for the mafia to lynch a townie.[/COLOR] Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Holypie - 2010-09-26 Yay math. Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - ElectricSix - 2010-09-26 Well unless we decide to tie up the vote, I don't see a no lynch happening now. We could have all just not voted since Xela doesn't penalize that, but as soon as one person did, someone else had to vote if we were gonna do that. Anyway, I'm fine with changing my vote, like I said, it was randomly generated. If it's better for the town not to lynch, then I say we do that, if it's better to lynch, then lets do that. At this point, everything is up in the air just like every Day 1 turns out to be. Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Lord Xela - 2010-09-26 Updated vote count: Dusk - 1 (ShiKage) Rayquaza2233 - 1 (Holypie) Darkmaniak - 4 (ElectricSix, MetaSeraphim, ThatHurts, TKWizard) Kurtle - 1 (Jon) Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Russt - 2010-09-26 DualReaver Wrote:Is it we have an advantage if we don't lynch or if we do lynch? I forget how that rule was supposed to go. If we lynch. We want to keep it odd during the day, which means 2 people die per cycle, which means one dies during the day. On the other hand we could skip two lynches and it'd still be odd during the day. That would be giving the mafia 2 free turns, but then again it's not as bad as it sounds considering it's equivalent to getting this lynch wrong in terms of number; 2 townies die either way. You say this like I don't know it. However unlike everyone else I was the only person willing to get the ball rolling and the best way to do that was using a RNG since I had no one to vote for. The detective was killed which means the pirates are going to have to take guesses as to who is who. But, go ahead and vote for me tomorrow if he turns out to be a pirate. Whether you believe it or not there is no hiddenness behind my vote, just simply what I got through numbers. Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6 - Dusk - 2010-09-26 I'm going to |
