Death to the Bishops - SethElite - 2010-06-18 chrisloup Wrote:in maplesea currently, powerguard banging isn't working anymore unless you have like super high 300 acc+ This is the way it should be. Anything that helps noobs leech needs to gtho mah maple. Death to the Bishops - cruddas - 2010-06-18 I aprove of the 30 sec cooldown, there could be a much better selection of weapons for all classes of all levels if people tried to train in more maps than just a few select places and just for leeching reasons mostly, the game could be much different, people could *gasp* be having actual FUN instead of lots of Smegas stating this same generic message ---> "ding! I just hit 150 is 10 hours! Congrats spam me ily BL and guild and wifey/dog/cat/goldfish/blahblahblah<333333333333 i ain't got pomegranate to do now except spam mah ults! Nexon giv mi moar nao!" A game is supposed to be fun, and if you are getting to these high levels is a week and bitching that you don't have anywhere to train that is NOT boring you need, "NEED" to stop playing. I read a topic on another forum and it's mostly archmages and bishops feeling that this will pretty much halt their ability to train and they will be reduced to nobodies, maybe getting 500% exp an hour will not be possible anymore, i don't know, but from the sound of this change is all formulas like weapon/magic ATT and DEF, Accuracy, and many others are being revamped for an all new way to play the game, so maybe this will buff mages to match other classes. Death to the Bishops - ThatWasMyKil - 2010-06-18 wtp is this bullshit? Nexon giv mi moar nao!" i've had that same thought ever since people used to level to 1xx+ in z4... lol Death to the Bishops - Kevo - 2010-06-18 FrozNlite Wrote:Fix'd. I never sold leech on my AM, but I support it. I don't want to get into it for the trillionth time, but I completely agree with you! I never used my Bishop to leech my characters though... too bad that opportunity might be gone forever =[ I thought I was the only one who wasn't anti-leech :x Death to the Bishops - LegendGospel - 2010-06-18 I love how people just read a KMST patch and 5 minutes after start "OMG IT'S THE END OF XXXX!". It also happened with Evans, "OMG THE END OF ARCH MAGES!!!". The thing is, 1) We don't know enough about the formulas, skill changes, and so. 2) It's Tespia. Anything could happen. Personally as a Bishop, I wouldn't mind to train at the same speed as other jobs. Granted, all ultimates have a 30 sec cooldown now, but we don't know what else they're gonna modify. Obviously they can't let Bishops die like that. For one, we got a super Angel Ray. Maybe we'll also get a newly animated and powerful Shining Ray, not to mention how Teleprot Mastery will play on it, or how the magic attack formula will change certain skills which could put us on par with other classes, instead of making us level 4 times faster than everyone else in the game. Also, I'm happy cause we got a longer lasting Holy Shield. :3 I'm just not going to bawwww because of some patch notes form a test server. Wait to see it all in action. Wait to know all the details. Going around flailing declarations without having all the information is dumb. Death to the Bishops - Kabanaw - 2010-06-18 Also, remember the exp to next level has nearly been cut in half. Death to the Bishops - Dusk - 2010-06-18 If they cut the exp required to level in half and make all the monsters take more hits to kill, that just makes the game more party-oriented and less "hang 5 mules on a rope and hold a button" oriented. Everyone will level faster, requiring less of a need to leech. It looks like they're buffing the other mage skills and changing the magic damage formula to make mages strong enough to hold their own without spamming ultimates. Sure, selling leech is an reliable way to make a small source of income, but it spits in the eye of the idea of MapleStory being a game. This change to MapleStory will do a lot more than add a cooldown to Ultimates. I'm sure there will be other ways to exploit your fellow players' greed. Death to the Bishops - OB3LISK - 2010-06-18 No minimum range for ranged...That means summon can summon something at right side of henesys by Bruce, and I can stand by HGG1 portal and throw a star and hit it? hekks. MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH. Death to the Bishops - Alloy - 2010-06-18 OB3LISK Wrote:No minimum range for ranged...That means summon can summon something at right side of henesys by Bruce, and I can stand by HGG1 portal and throw a star and hit it? Minimum range. Not maximum. EVEN THOUGH, that means you can be INSIDE a monster... AND NOT PUNCH IT. Sincerely, that's even better. Death to the Bishops - OB3LISK - 2010-06-18 Alloy Wrote:Minimum range. Not maximum. Ohhhhhhhhh. Dammit. Oh well that's still good I guess. Death to the Bishops - holyforest - 2010-06-18 I'm actually glad Nexon did this. Making the game party-oriented just makes it more fun. Standing in one place and spamming a skill, how is that fun? Lower levels will have less places to train. :| Level 150 people might be happy, but you can't have the same number of trainable maps for level 30-50 as 130-150. Death to the Bishops - DeanNim - 2010-06-18 Not rubish adjusments lahh... People who thinks these are rubbish adjusments to bishops are rubbish bandwagons. I can read you just like that, you made a bishop JUST BECAUSE of genesis. Yes, like most others. Only people who made a bishop just for genesis will complain. Because to your tiny little minds, bishops = money making and **-ing king. And as manaphy said. People who had played priests before fourth job do not need people like you. (hehe, he referenced me in his post and i referenced him for referencing me (hehe) )(hehe) ^ A comment i made at the asiasoft forums. sorry its a little bit singlish. Anyway thats the current situation in maplesea. When people mention bishops only 'spamming' and 'ksing' comes to mind. never the good things such as heal, bless, and stuff like that. And yes, most bishops in maplesea only made bishops just for genesis. Death to the Bishops - holyforest - 2010-06-18 DeanNim Wrote:Not rubish adjusments lahh... But yeah, bishops should be known for their awesome buffs and party support. Death to the Bishops - Satellite - 2010-06-18 SethElite Wrote:Death to abusing what they had.Well I quit my Bishop, but... I never understood this? Where did Nexon say Bishops are not intended to be able to solo? This will kill all magicians and bishops will now be buffmules for bosses that will be hell to level(cough like 80->120 wasnt hard enough). Who wants to party train with a bishop that is leeching their exp, when they can just have HS MULE? You guys are also ignoring the fact that this also affects AM , making them even even more useless.
Death to the Bishops - KaidaTan - 2010-06-18 I know someone mentioned it already, but I want to elaborate on just how much the exp needed to level was cut. Example: Level 120 to 121 currently takes 23.7m New Level 120 to 121 takes 10m By that same ratio it will take just barely less than 700m to level from 199 to 200. For the record, it now takes me around 750m to level from 185 to 186. Also, quest exp has not changed, so doing quests early-game might actually give some amazing exp. Death to the Bishops - holyforest - 2010-06-18 KaidaTan Wrote:I know someone mentioned it already, but I want to elaborate on just how much the exp needed to level was cut. Exactly, it won't be as hard to level anymore. Magicians will not be killed. |
