Death to the Bishops
#1
Cool down time with Gene plus the new Magic accuracy system!

Level 139 Bishop with 1400 Magic misses most of his attacks. I think they're trying to make LUK a bit more necessary for the Mage class.

- All classes -
The new W.ATT and M.ATT damage formula has changed.
The new W.DEF and M. DEF formula has changed.
Accuracy, magic accuracy, avoidablility, and magic avoidability formula has changed.
All skills now get a passive critical skill.
Basic mastery for certain weapons has changed.
Archer and Thief (Assassin, Hermit, Nightlord) now have no minimum range. (Same as Gunslinger)

It's not really death to the class. They've possibly superpowered their other skills. Bishops will just have to train another way. Besides, the mages also have a cool down on their ultimates as well.

So if Archers have no minimum range, then what's the point of Dragon Breath and Mortal Blow now? o.o

Passive critical to all skills is pretty awesome though.

^^ there's also some new attack as well that seems to knockback...

Knock 'em out of attack/touch range? Archers aren't the kings of HP.

PKB has 100% knock back now I think.

Death to abusing what they had.

Now they will be forced to be played how Nexon intended them, as a healer/buffer.

Its death to mages. Archmages have a cooldown applied to their skills too, and they were more likely to go lukless with ele wands.

We yet have to wait how all of these changes turn out, however, whenever this makes it to GMS i believe they will have to TAKE APPLES OUT OF THE GAME !!

I am refusing to make any judgement regarding any classes being killed off or useless until after I see some rebalancing.

Not sure what to make of this, I've rarely trained with mages or played them but a lot of people rely on mages to train more effectively. Though I am strongly against leech and this seems like a 1HKO to mage based leeching (yay more gallops maps) i still can't help but feel a little sorrow for those who'll lose out...

... on the other hand

And all the Lv. 200 Magicians went "phew..."

So long as we can still connect all of our hits without missing, I'm down. That being said, as ultimate spamming is essentially all we have to offer the game (referring to ArchMages), if they don't redesign the magic and element damage systems in a way that actually makes our other skills useful, then I believe a "Death to ArchMages" thread is in order.

YAY APQ MULES!

With this new change to Bishops, wouldn't a HS mule replace a Bishop now for training?

Magicians better hurry to 200 soon Tongue

I guess Southperry can rejoice because a major source of leeching has been eliminated.

Fix'd. I never sold leech on my AM, but I support it. I don't want to get into it for the trillionth time, but

in maplesea currently, powerguard banging isn't working anymore unless you have like super high 300 acc+

basically for a noob to powerguard leech anego/samurai boss at lvl 50 is practically impossible now.
