Are you excited for Aran? - NotAwesome - 2009-12-03 I feel like trying it out. If I enjoy it more than my DK I'll main it, otherwise it'll end up being an improvement to my blessing. Evan is definitely a lot more appealing to me since skill updates but not bothering with Aran when I already have equips from my DK and we got at least a few months seems silly. Are you excited for Aran? - Stereo - 2009-12-03 The idea of playing an Evan makes me physically ill. I'm gonna avoid that class so hard. Yeah, I'll be making an Aran. Born a warrior, turn into a popsicle warrior. Unfreeze a warrior. Live a warrior. Die a warrior. I'll make it to 3rd job at the least - how far depends how much I like it. I kinda got bored of my DK around level 90, but then again, Aran keep getting new skills after level 90... my DK just has 30 levels of saving SP to look forward to. Are you excited for Aran? - Reako - 2009-12-03 Most definately going to try it. At the least, will be getting the ring. At the most, I'll be playing it instead of going back to my hermit. Why make an Aran when we'll be getting Evan in another six months? Are you excited for Aran? - Dusk - 2009-12-03 Aran looks awful to me. It's like they can't design classes that have any variety to their attacks anymore. All the Cygnus Knights had like one single target spam attack and one mob spam attack. Now we have a class that doesn't even require you to put the effort into choosing whether you are going to use a mob attack or a single target attack. It automates the process, and all you have to do is point your character in the right direction and mash one button over and over again. In between that and Combat Step there's really nothing else you can do. I also hate the fact that they're advertised as "legend classes." Everything about them implies that they're supposed to be better than adventurers. What's so fucking cool about them? They look like wimpy versions of DrKs. Pirates were introduced as just another class. They were on even ground. That was okay. The whole "legend" thing just feels like a big "f'uck you". I'll be making two on different accounts for the rings. Are you excited for Aran? - Berzerk - 2009-12-03 I'll enjoy it for 70 levels then quit it. That's even if I make one. I'm more so looking to make profit off the patch. Are you excited for Aran? - DrRusty - 2009-12-03 nope don't care for obvious reasons Are you excited for Aran? - LunaKios - 2009-12-03 yes (like i said I,m over about the wesday thing-_-)and I just del my cygnus for aran(got bored over cygnus) Are you excited for Aran? - sicnarf - 2009-12-03 It's the same deal as pirates for me: It looks cool, but I'm too lazy to make one.
Are you excited for Aran? - Spideyjvc - 2009-12-03 Grog, what you went through is a "cool down period". I'm tempted to whip out the chapter of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei that parodies this, but I'll refrain from doing so. (Chapter 38, if you wanna know the chapter) In any case, when you first see something new and interesting, something that your eyes really stick to, you'll be wanting it simply because of it's hype at the time. However, as time goes on, that hype dies down. You've had time to think through it a bit, and the hype died down. I'm sure the same thing will happen with Evan. Right now everyone is soiling their trousers for a mage class that actually has decent damage when it comes to single target. After months pass, there will still be people joining up for it, but I doubt Evan will get nearly as much praise by then than it's getting right now. As for myself, I'm usually the type of person who doesn't really follow everyone and ends up liking something after it's hype has already passed. Arans don't seem to interest me and haven't from the start. I plan on just making my Aran to 50 or whatever for the ring (if we're even getting it) and then pretty much using it as a mule. Maybe when I'm bored I'll decide to get on it and boost it for some blessing on Four, but that's all I plan on doing with it. Are you excited for Aran? - Ryanide - 2009-12-03 I was soo pumped about arans.... till MSEA got it. Eh, not so fun anymore. Same hype as pirates, only that combo step is fun to play with. Are you excited for Aran? - sicnarf - 2009-12-03 Okay, I kinda lied...I just searched for info on the ring everyone is talking about. Now I'm making one for the ring at least. Are you excited for Aran? - Takebacker - 2009-12-03 I slowly went from "HOLY S'HIT QUITTING MY BUCC FOR THIS" to "Eh, i don't feel like quitting my bucc entirely". At this point i'm going to boss on my bucc, and train the aran. If at somepoint i get the aran a little into 4rd job, we'll see how it goes. Are you excited for Aran? - CrazyLazy - 2009-12-03 MS is boring now. I'll try out Aran for the time being, hopefully it'll be decent. ARE YOU KIDDING? ARANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
Are you excited for Aran? - Beg - 2009-12-03 The ring, it calls. That's about it. If the rate of new class release continues at this pace, may as well stick to what you like/already have; the thought of levelling yet another character to level 120+ makes me cringe a little. Guilty as charged for wanting to initially make an aran as a main character when first videos came out though. Bought all the polearms up to level 70 (except a karstan, they're nasty lookin') and everything. At least they were an OK investment to fund my actual mains in the end. Are you excited for Aran? - Dual - 2009-12-03 I agree with Beg. With all the bandwagoning, people will be begging for non-new classes to come join them at places, simply because you'll have to be godly as pineapple to be comparable. Are you excited for Aran? - SoupySoupy - 2009-12-03 Hybrid- Just another class to mindlessly grind. ~GONNA BE GRINDAN HARD I don't really care about the actual game or classes all that much, but I like meeting new people and leveling up with them. So I'm excited about doing that again, class releases are always fun in that respect. I probably won't quit my other mains but I plan to get this to fourth job and possibly add it to my 'main' collection Are you excited for Aran? - Daakun - 2009-12-03 More of a "I'm gonna play one because I'm really just that bored" than anything else. Are you excited for Aran? - Doctor Omega - 2009-12-03 Everyone and their mother will be playing an Aran. Which is the exact reason I will not. It's just another class that involves killing the same monster over and over again. I've got a Marksman sitting at 145 that kills Chief Oblivion Guardians in 2-3 hits, and is begging to be 170 so all his good skills can be maxed. Once I get Advanced Mastery and Snipe maxed, get my ring, and upgrade the remainder of my equipment, I will run circles around this silly new class. My care level couldn't be lower for this upcoming patch. |
