Are you excited for Aran?

Something about Aran just isn't clicking with me, and I know I'm not the only one out there who isn't really that excited to make one. Remember back when Pirates were released, and EVERYBODY made one? It was awesome to see, for the first time in five years, a new class make its way into GMS. Even if you ended up quitting your Pirate after 4th job, like myself, you still enjoyed playing it. Less than a year later, we get Cygnuses, and while they didn't have nearly as much hype as Pirates, people still liked the idea of playing the kiddie version of a class that they always found interesting but didn't want to dedicate themselves to. Those were both nice, right?

We've only just recently heard about Arans. Didn't Fiel first extract them from KMST a little over four months ago? Somewhere around there? And we're getting them already! They look like a very promising class; I love how the combo system looks and it's always nice to have a huge arsenal of attacking skills, but they'll be hitting GMS in five days and I haven't even gone as far as to consider making one. I remember back when I saw videos of Arans raping everything in Time Temple's Oblivion maps, I was sitting there shitting my pants at the thought of playing one; they looked FUN! BUT I'M STILL WORN OUT FROM CYGNUS TRAINING, NEXON! Why couldn't you have waited another year like we all assumed you would have?

Do you plan on making an Aran and dedicating yourself to it? Are you tired of grinding and plan on making one in the future? Do they not appeal to you at all?

I guess all I'm really asking for is your opinion on its release in GMS.

Not making an Aran. Maybe because I never really leveled a character to a really high level yet, lol.

Evan, on the other hand, appeals to me.

Not really excited. I played a Dragon Knight before, and I mained Pole Arms. Only difference here are the 'combos', which seems kinda stupid to me. To other people, it's probably interesting though. -shrug- Pirates and Cygnus were rather promising, which is why I even attempted at making both. But for Arans, I doubt I'd return just to try one out. They actually seem pretty boring..

Well, Every job that got released... Pirates were absolutely popular at their release, but after some patches, people started to see the bad points of it.
Same goes for Cygnus, they looked overpowered, everyone as making one, although it's bad point was too obvious.
Arans are different, their good points are too much higher than it's bad.
Not everyone will make it, but in my opinion, it's a big deal.

I've had a 4th job IL, a 125 Captain, but decided to quit both for Arans. Since doing twice my damage at 20 less levels kinda pissed me off.
My answer for your question is: Yes, i will.
Also, it's kinda of a choice to make it. Like you all know, If you like every job that is being released, you'll have to start over every 5 or 6 months due to KMS new job madness.

Just choose which one you want to play on. I'm chosing Aran, i'll not make an Evan and any other job that is going to be released, sorry, but i sincerely don't feel good having to start out again at every 6 months, and having to buy everything due to separate CS storages "made to fit the awesomeness of the new job".

I'm not that kind of player that falls in love with every new released job. Like Cygnus, i didn't liked it much, just made for getting extra attack.
I've already made my choice as an Aran, and i'm not going to change it.

Actually to be honest, if i wasn't currently trying to finish upgrading/washing my BM, funding a 13x bucc, leveling up a mage, and leveling a priest for blessing, I'd prolly have more time to actually read about Arans and think about making one. They actually seem pretty appealing, but not as appealing as Evan [;

Since it didn't have an option I just went with not making one. Who knows I may get addicted to it, but as of right now I'm just getting to the good parts on my DrK and don't wanna stop.

Aran looks exciting like all new jobs are to me. I'll make one but I'm going to continue to focus my efforts on upgrading my Bowmaster equips.

I have my ign for my Aran reserved on a mule atm, but that's just because it amuses me: sAranWrap (2 v's instead of a w though ). Other than that, I still have 3 Cygnus sitting on other accounts that I have yet to even log into. I just created my first real pirate, a slinger (my TB was my first pirate-based char), and that's only a storage mule. Basically, my Aran will just be another mule that I play when I get bored enough of my main.

I'm all for Aran. I don't mind pressing the same button over and over again, and it reminds me of fighting games, which I love. So definitely, up to the point I joined back MS just for them.

Simple answer: no

I was, until I saw the updated Evans. After playing a bucc for a year Aran seems kind of redundant (buccs do alot of comboing stuff as well).

I share the same feelings as Greg...like...they look <kinda> cool and whatnot...but I just dont feel an urge to go make one and play it. I just have that "...that's nice...*moves on*" kinda feel with it and will most likely not be making one, even with the rings they come with...least not right away anyways.
