Unfortunately I'm going to have to put this on hold, frankly there weren't more than like 3-4 participants, a few gym leaders weren't available, and I may have to go to florida for two weeks. SOBADTIMINGALLAROUND.
I'll host another one in the future but this is a good experiment of what we need to pay attention too.

Just so you all know, I will be changing eligible pokemon. Because Gym leaders/E4 lack the level advantage, they will ultimately have a tier advantage. Until further notice assume the UU tier is the only eligible one. It's harder to expand that to 6th gen, but to be quite frank, all of the most used 6th gen are most likely OU. Save /maybe/ diggersby.
Again, the gym leaders have been having difficulty because their team is monotype, that lack any advantage, and have a huge disadvantage to things like scizor.

Ah, I read that wrong.
I can't say I fully get the tier advantage thing. But if we do go with that, Mega Evos should be allowed in Gym Battles too, at least. If they aren't all made to be OU, anyway.

Whelp, I believe leaders/e4 will at least use 1-2 ou pokemon. Hopefully this will work better for round 2 and maybe replace a few leaders with more active people >:
