The only thing I hate about the update is that it gave a max load for mud until it starts to behave like sand. Really put a halt on my Vilethorn Pirana hunting aquarium/jungle tunnel/farm. Otherwise stuff is nifty. Still need to look up the recipes later and do some more crafting.
EDIT: Anyone mind crunching some numbers to see if it would be at all possible to recreate a scale replica of Super Metroid under the ratio of Morph ball size = 2x2 blocks? If I ever bother trying to make another base, I might as well do it in style. And looking at it one way, I've already been using inspiration from that game in what I've done.

Quick update:
Went into hell in a new world.
Lots of cloud in a bottle, no dark spear
I abused the water walking and featherfall potion
Found 2 Demon Scythes while walking around.
Molten is a decent set to use now seeing as I don't use mana that much...
I use it for Orb of Light, Magic Mirror and now Demon Scythe.

I started playing this game a few days ago and I just finished it for the most last night, content wise.
I hope the extra dungeon content is worth it, because I turned my dungeon into the next "Water Temple" last night lol
At least they're fixing that annoyance of dungeons spawning inside the ocean, because mine was like 1/3rd into the ocean.

I never had a dungeon that was spawned half underwater. Seems fun though. Maybe annoying too... thats true.
But yeah.. Terraria keeps getting better and better.
And if you haven't tried it yet. You should really try it online with some good friends or something. Its extremely fun to do.

Well it wasn't underwater per say, the sand from the ocean just blocked the entire entrance to the dungeon, so I had to dig myself to the tunnel through a different passage lol

The fun is only limited by your creativity and later on, if you know people with good servers. Start solo or on a fresh server though since if people just give you freebies to start, you miss out on the true feeling of exploration it offers. I miss the feeling of not having a ball of light to rely on. I just might start fresh again sometime soon once I get out of my gaming backlog.

Thats true, I made a new character three times because its fun doing it with a friend online. (Or alone if you have/want to)
