Edited the table above with all of those on my Friend Safari's 1st and 2nd Pokemon. I'll be adding the people who posted FC's over the last 2-3 days tomorrow.

So far my Pokemon with max IV's (that I've checked) are:

Mightyena - HP/Sp. Att
Pachirisu - Att/Sp. Def/Speed
Beautifly - HP/Sp. Att/Speed
Illumise - Def/Speed

Going by this...Friend Safari seems to churn out high-IV Pokemon easily.

Kubi Wrote:Well, I just started my breeding even though I'm not done with the main game yet.
I'm currently breeding a bunch of Skrelps, so let me know if anyone needs one ^^.
I'm not sure what Skrelp would be handy for. From the looks of it, it has the stats to be a mixed sweeper, Attack and Sp. Att stats are about the same. The first one I fished out had these stats:
Lv25, Timid Nature
HP: 66
Att: 35
Defense:37
Sp Att: 37
Sp Def: 38
Speed: 24

The next one I fished out had a modest nature, and its Sp Att was at 42. Thinking it works the same as before, so I attached an Everstone to the parent that has the modest nature and plan to make a sp attacker but it feels odd. Its movepool is also somewhat shallow, lacking any significant boosting or support moves like dragon dance, calm mind, or swords dance. Also from what I've read, Dragalge cannot learn ice beam, but it can learn thunderbolt.

On another note, I discovered that some attacks can sometimes interact with the background in pokemon battles. For an example, you can see a tree with berries in the background. Using something like gust or hurricane in battle can knock them down for you to pick them up after. I picked up random power herbs from other areas too. I imagine there's probably other stuff like that elsewhere.

Dragalge is one of the special defense super training challenges, if that matters. He looks like more of a supportive/status spreader than a sweeper from what I've seen.

As for the environment notes, good eye - I've gotten a couple things randomly from fights, I'll experiment to see if I can find any more connections. Might be worth using Rock Smash randomly in cave fights...

Yay. My Whirlipede and Kirlia both hit Lv30 at the same time haha. Now I have both my favourite Bug-type and Psychic-type pokemon.

And I just got the Dowsing Machine. I look like I'm running around pointing two ray guns at people; it's kinda cute.

EDIT: Unwilling to rely solely on my Gardevoir's Magical Leaf for the Rock-type gym, I've backtracked yet again to catch another Azurill (my previous one had sucky IVs).

Seems the freshly caught one has Huge Power and max Attack IV. Holy sh-

JPTheMonkey; So am I Alex (water) or Alex (poison)?

Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion - JPTheMonkey - 2013-10-15

Judging by the order of Friend Safaris and where your Friend Code falls on that list, you are Alex (Poison).

That's really cool :o Congrats.
I wonder if anything special happens when you fill the national dex.

Probably the same thing that always happens: free pixel certificate and a gold star somewhere. At least on the gameboy we used to be able to print the damn things >:C

I have no idea why but I keep finding Moltres over and over in the same route even after saving after the encounter. Maybe I'm just super lucky.

I'm loving the new berry system! You get such a high yield of berries and you can cross pollinate strains. After i planted some pecha and oran berries together I got qualot berries. After that, this scientist shows up and says shes researching berry mutations and then keeps a list of all the mutations you find. Anybody else find other mutations? I'm trying to find all the EV training berries because honestly I have no patience trying to get one of those reset bags.

Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion - Dredragon - 2013-10-15

Wanna write down the mutations you guys have so far? Pretty sure Bahamut got one as well.

Also:

I have a synchronize ralts of every nature that matters, except jolly. Still working on that

I have 1 modest one, one timid and 3 adamant ones to spare if anyone wants one

Also, where do you get smoke ball? If I use my ralts to find the pokemon w/ the natures I want, and I try to run from a pokemon I don't want, I probably won't be able to escape unless I switch out. :<

Is it possible to remove your hat in the game? I've seen people without hats, but not sure if that's legit or not. Everywhere I go people say you can't do it. Also, some people resemble trainers and even gym leaders.

Do you have an Adamant Male to spare? If so that would be amazing ._.
I can offer an Adamant Pancham with Mold Breaker or an Adamant (or Jolly) Skarmory with Sturdy in return if you'd like. Those are the only extra Pokemon I have with 'perfect' natures.

Also Serebii said Smoke Ball is found in the Lost Hotel. I looked inside for one too and couldn't find it, though. I think it's either cleverly hidden behind a rock smash wall, or you have to get past that annoying dude who says you aren't cool enough to meet the Boss.

Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion - Kubi - 2013-10-15

Well, I just leveled and evolved my Skrelp to a Dragalge. It'll be used at least for the main game.
It's modest, but I doubt it has any perfect 31 IVs. I EV trained it in Sp atk and SP def, and the stats look somewhat decent.
Lv48
HP:131
Atk:76
Defense:104
Sp. Att: 150
Sp. Def:159
Speed:62

All I really want is a sunstone or a dusk stone if you have a spare one. Hit me (Andre) up with a trade and I can give it to you w/e

Just beat the elite four and the champion. It was extremely easy thanks to the new OP exp share. Now I can focus on all of the wonderful side things the game has to offer!

Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion - TheTempest - 2013-10-15

Finally got an Adamant Torchic with 20+ in all IVs except SpD. Took me ~7 hours of soft resetting, now for some Super Training. Frown

There's another entrance to the hotel; go south along that route till you find another collapsed building that has very tall grass in it -- it should be in that section of the hotel.

Cant you just teach it teleport?

Does teleport go first? And they're all level one, heh. Exp share would make it easy, but still, pretty sure the enemy will be faster
