Chapter 3 and Challenge Mode - UTC: December 28th at 12:00 AM – January 24th at 11:59 PM

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Get ready to try and survive during the Misty Island Legacy Event!
  
• To start your adventure, accept "Pollion's Message, depart to Misty Island" by talking to Pollion through the event notifier on the left side of the screen.
  
• After clearing the tutorial, the Misty Island Exploration Map can be accessed through Pollion in the Temporary Expedition Headquarters.
  
• Each chapter, along with Endless Mode, can be accessed through the Misty Island Exploration map.
  • The expedition can be ended early by selecting the "Return" button on the right-hand side of the screen.
    
• Chapter completion rewards and daily experience rewards can be claimed through Pollion.
  
• It's best to play a chapter that suits your current trait levels repeatedly to increase your odds of surviving higher chapters.
  
• You will earn Exploration points based on the number of days you survived and the amount of goblin attacks defeated.
  
• Exploration points and traits can be viewed/upgraded through Sonia. Certain skill levels only become available upon completing higher chapters.
  

Central Ruins

• The main objective is to defend the Central Ruins.
  
• There is no way to repair the Central Ruins, keep it safe from invaders!
  
• The current expedition will end if the Central Ruins is destroyed.
  
• The ruin's HP is linked with the gauge of upper UI.
  
• If an invasion occurs while you're in a location other than the Center of the Ancient Ruins, the Central Ruins HP will decrease periodically.
  
• Different routes around the central ruins will open up based on the scenario chosen. The goblins will always begin their attack from the edges of the map.
  
• Carly will construct special areas on each invasion route to place defense facilities.
  

Raid and Invasion

• Invasion begins every night on the 3rd day.
  • There will be a notice before the invasion begins.
    
• Monsters summoned by the invasion do not disappear until all monsters are defeated.
  
• Wave per chapter
  • Chapter 1: 3 Waves.
    
  • Chapter 2: 4 Waves.
    
  • Chapter 3: 4 Waves.
    
  • Challenge Mode: 8 Waves.
    
• Raids appear the night before the invasion begins.
  
• Goblins summoned by raids disappear in the morning. Goblins that are attacking the central ruins do not and must be defeated.
  

Defense Facilities

• There are 2 types of structures that can be crafted to defend the central ruins.
  • Defense Walls: Structures that block the movement of monsters. Some defense walls also deal damage to enemies at the cost of lower durability. Defense walls can be destroyed by monsters' attacks.
    
  • Defense Towers: Structures that attack monsters and have unique effects such as slowing enemies, creating areas that apply damage over time, or just dealing tons of damage. Towers can be destroyed by monsters' attacks.
    
• Defense structures can be placed only in predefined areas created by Carly.
  
• Molar Traps: A spiky defensive trap perfect for softening up incoming enemies. The trap deals damage to Monsters that walk over it, making it a great source of additional damage during the invasions!
  
• Sticky Platform: A sticky trap that impairs enemy movement. The trap slows down monsters that walk over it, increasing the amount of time it will take to reach the Central Ruins.
  
• Monster Sound Speaker: A powerful speaker that demoralizes even the most powerful of foes. Enemies afflicted by the speaker will deal reduced damage.
  

Monsters

• Misty Island Wildlife
  • Your main source of acquiring various resources and materials necessary for surviving your expedition.
    
  • Rare mythical beasts with powerful crafting materials can be found scattered throughout the island.
    
• Goblins
  • Goblins will periodically attack and attempt to destroy the central ruins.
    
  • Each goblin type has a unique attack pattern, some more deadly than others.
    
  • Goblins that are part of the raid on the outskirts of the ruins are aggressive and will chase after you given the chance.
    
• Goblin Leaders
  • Goblin Leaders will occasionally join invasions on the central ruins. They have much higher hp and damage than the average goblin troop, so tread lightly.
    • Goblin King
      • The king of the goblins and the wielder of the Staff of Mother Earth. With higher Hp, Damage, and the ability to call for extra goblins, be prepared for a difficult fight when he appears.

  • The list of items that can be crafted increases based on the rank of the currently placed crafting facility
    
  • Higher ranked crafting facilities include all lower-level recipes.
    
  • Hidden recipes will become available when special materials are acquired.
    
  • There is a hidden recipe that requires different materials each expedition.
    
  • Items that are available to be crafted can be checked at any time by viewing the Craft UI.
    
  • Crafting items other than the basic items is only possible while in the vicinity of a Crafting Facility.
    
• Alchemy
  • Craft potions that provide benefits such as stat enhancement and health recovery.
    
  • Potions that can be crafted can be checked at any time by viewing the Craft UI.
    
  • Alchemy is only possible while in the vicinity of the Alchemy Pot.
    
• Cooking
  • Create Food dishes by combining up to 3 food items.
    
  • The amount of available cooking slots depends on the rank of the cooking facility being used.

Crafting UI

• Inventory
  • The inventory button can be opened by clicking the icon at the bottom of the mini map or using the inventory button/hotkey. (Note: General inventory cannot be opened while in an expedition)
    
  • Acquired items are automatically moved to the inventory.
    
  • 20 slots are provided by default, additional slots can be obtained by crafting item bags.
    
  • The Expiration timer/durability are displayed in the item icon.

  • Can be opened by selecting the [Craft] button at the bottom of the mini map, the [Craft] button in the inventory, or by clicking a crafting facility.

  • Found recipes are maintained until the end of the expedition.

• Cooking UI
  • The UI can be opened by clicking the nearest cooking facility.
    
  • The number of slots for ingredients varies depending on the type of cooking building.
    • Bonfire: 1 slot - Only simple grilled dishes are possible. Low efficiency.
      
    • Campfire for cooking: 2 slots - Can cook by combining 1 or 2 ingredients.
      
    • Countertop: 3 slots - Can cook by combining 1 or 3 ingredients.
      
    • 1 slot per 1 material of any type. If you want to put 2 of the same item, they will occupy 2 slots.
      
  • Drag and drop or double-click inventory items to add them to the cooking slot then click the [Cook] button.
    
  • If you want to remove an item from the cooking UI, drag and drop it into your inventory or right-click the item.
    
  • When you click the [Cook] button, it is completed immediately, and the finished cooking item is displayed.
    
  • If you double-click or right click a cooked item while it's in the cooking UI, it will be moved to the inventory.
    
  • If you cook an invalid combination of food, a Mystery Dish is created.
    
  • The cooked item will remain available in the cooking facility if the UI is accidently closed
    

Crafting Materials

• All resources required for making essential starting items such as worktables, Stone Axes, etc. are obtainable through harvesting.
  
• Lava Stone, a rare crafting resource, can be obtained through mining and defeating difficult monsters, Goblin Leaders, and the Goblin King.
  
• Harvested resources are mainly used to craft items for survival and relic excavation.
  
• Monster resources are mainly used for crafting items and potions useful for defeating high level monsters and bosses.
  

Facility

• Structures that can be installed on the map directly and interacted with.
  
• Has HP and can be destroyed by monster attacks.
  
• When double-clicking an item, the structure is placed at the current character's location in the direction the character is looking.
  
• Cannot be placed if the area is smaller than the structure.
  
• Cannot be placed in an underwater area.
  
• Buildings are not damaged by players attacks.
  
• If a building is no longer needed or if you want to install another building in that location, it can be destroyed by crafting and using the Demolition Hammer.
  
• Some of the materials used to craft structures will drop when they're destroyed.
  

Equip

• Character appearance changes when equipping equipment.
  
• Some actions require special equipment (Ex: you need Pickax to gather stones).
  
• Provide bonus stats (Speed, Defense, HP, etc.) and exclusive defense effects (atmospheric effect penalty reduction, etc.)
  
• Some advanced equipment provides powerful skills.
  • Characters do not have any skills.

• It’s time to power through the early levels in Burning World!
  
• A new character created during the Hyper Burning event can either be Mega Burning (created in Burning World), Hyper Burning, or regular character.
  • You cannot get the rewards given when creating a Mega Burning character if you create a Hyper Burning character in Burning World.
    
  • Be careful as clicking the [Cancel] or [No] buttons will create a regular character.
    
• If Burning didn't expire after applying Hyper Burning or Mega Burning and the character reached Lv. 200, that character can be set as Hyper Burning.
  • However, rewards that weren't claimed while in Mega Burning state cannot be claimed upon setting as Hyper Burning character. Make sure to claim all your Mega Burning rewards beforehand.
    
• Burning World is a world with special rules that will exist only for the event duration, filled with boosts to make it easier to level up fast.
  
• Burning World is available for both NA and EU regions.
  
• All characters created in Burning World will receive a ‘Burning’ skill.

  • You can also participate in the Hyper Burning Plus event in Burning World. If you choose to do so, you are unable to Hyper Burn a character in other worlds in that account.
    
  • Zero characters cannot be selected as a ‘Burning’ character.
    
  • Please note that only up to 6 characters can participate in the World Leap after the Burning World event duration ends.

• We are bringing a 1.5x EXP event in the last week of Burning World to give a helping hand to those that must rush to reach Lv. 150 prior to the Burning World Leap!
  
• The 1.5x EXP Event will be active during the following hours each day during the event duration:

• Burning World Step Up event returns to enhance your leveling experience in Burning World even further!
  
• Complete missions available to your Burning World character’s level and step-up while receiving special rewards!
  
• Accept the ‘Participate in the Burning World Step Up Event!’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
  
• Once you click the Burning World Step Up icon within the star event on the left side of your screen, you will have access to the Step Up UI.
  
• When you reach the specified level milestone, remember to click ‘Mission Start!’ button to start the mission.
  
• When you complete the mission, click ‘Mission Complete!’ button to receive the reward and move on to the next mission.
  
• Burning World Step Up event can be completed by any characters in Burning World, regardless of having the ‘Burning’ effect or not.
  
• Burning World Step Up event progress is shared with all your characters in Burning World.

[B]Burning World Leap[/B]

UTC: February 8th (after maintenance) – February 23rd (before maintenance)

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Your Burning World journey ends here and it’s time to find yourself a new home!
  
• Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to Mover.
  
• Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
  
• You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
  
• Characters can ONLY be transferred to Aurora, Bera, Elysium, Luna, and Scania worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
  
• You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
  
• You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
  • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
    
  • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
    
• Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
  • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
    
• Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
  
• Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
  
• Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
  
• Ignition Coin Shop and Flare Coin Shop item quantity limits will follow the limit of the world that the character leaps to.

[B]FIREWORKS FESTIVAL PARADE EVENTS[/B]

[B][Ignition] Fireworks Festival Parade[/B]

UTC: November 16th (after maintenance) – February 7th at 11:59 PM

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Complete the "[Ignition Flame Festival] World Best! Mister Ignition!" quest via the star event notifier on the left side of the screen to start promoting the Ignition Flame Festival.
  
• Mister Ignition prepared the Daily Mission, Weekly Mission, and Monthly Mission.
  
• The progress for Ignition Flame Festival is shared across all characters on the same account.
  
• Complete Daily Missions to obtain the daily maximum of Ignition Coins and click on the "Flame Stamp" button to get a stamp.
  • Characters who have collected all of the coins can receive the stamp once a day per account.
    
• You can receive skill points to increase Blaze skill stats and other special rewards by collecting the stamps.
  • You can obtain the Blaze skill points on every 1st and 4th day each week.
    
• You can claim your Flame Stamp reward on every 7th stamp.
  
• You can see the Flare Coins obtained this week through the "Claim All" button in Weekly Mission.
  
• Flare Coin acquisition progression is shared by all of your characters within the world, and you can obtain up to 400 coins weekly per world.
  
• Weekly boss defeat record and earned Flare Coins will reset every Thursday 12:00 AM UTC, so please claim the coins before the reset.
  
• Flare Coins can be earned after the v.237 update maintenance through February 12 at 11:59 PM UTC.
  
• You can still receive the Flare Coins after maintenance, if you defeat the weekly boss on the day of the maintenance.
  
• You have to defeat the reward monster after the boss to earn Flare Coins, for boss monsters with reward monsters.
  
• You can still receive Flare Coins after defeating weekly bosses while in party with another Mapler.
  
• However, since the initial party members who entered the boss fight are recorded for boss entry purposes, party members who exit in the middle cannot re-enter the boss fight if the remaining party members defeated the boss.
  
• If you are dead when the boss monster is defeated, you won't receive the Flare Coin.
  
• However, if your boss elimination contribution is #1, you can still receive Flare Coins even if you're in a dead state.
  
• If you exit before the boss monster is defeated, you won't receive the Flare Coins.
  
• In cases where the boss in its last phase has been defeated and you revive from a dead state due to an excess Death Count, you can defeat the reward monster in the reward map and receive Flare Coins.
  
• The defeated boss info is applied the moment you open the Ignition Flame Festival UI.
  
• If you defeat the boss or reward (box, music box) while the Flame Festival UI is open, you need to close the UI and open it again to have the defeat record reflected.
  
• You can get Ignition Coins upon completing the Monthly Mission.
  • Monthly missions are carried out on a per world basis.
    
  • The Ignition Coins you get after completing the Monthly Mission doesn't count towards the daily limit.
    
  • The Monthly Mission resets every 4 weeks on December 14 at 12:00 AM UTC and January 11 at 12:00 AM UTC.
    
  • Monthly mission rewards can only be claimed by characters who have completed the "[Ignition Flame Festival] World's Best! Mister Ignition!" quest.
    

Daily Mission

• You can get Ignition Coins upon completing the Daily Mission.
  • Daily Missions are carried out on a per character basis.
    
  • You can get up to 300 Ignition Coins daily per character after completing the Daily Mission.
    
  • Daily Missions are reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC.
    

Weekly Mission

• You can get Flare Coins upon completing the Weekly Mission.
  • Weekly Mission proceeds per world and can be completed via the Ignition Flame Festival UI after defeating a weekly boss.

• It’s time to bounce a beach ball on as many monsters as you can!
  
• You can participate either by clicking “Quick Start” or “Party Play” when speaking to Flame Spiegelmann in the Main Stage map.
  
• You can only use Quick Start if you are not in a party, and will be matched with 2 other players who are also participating via Quick Start.
  
• The game can be played with up to 3 players.
  
• When each stage starts, monsters will appear from the water with a countdown.
  
• There are a total of 3 stages and the entire time limit is 30 minutes.
  
• Go near the ball that fell on the ground to automatically pick it up.
  
• You can't move while holding the ball. Use the arrow keys to set the direction to throw the ball, then use the Interact/Harvest key to throw it.
  
• The thrown ball flies in a straight line and the direction changes when it bounces off by colliding with monsters or the wall.
  
• The thrown ball stops when it touches the ground and you can pick it up again.
  
• The monster receives 1 damage when hit by the ball. The monster disappears when HP becomes 0.
  
• There are a total of 5 types of monsters.

• You can only use Quick Start if you are not in a party, and will be matched with 2 other players who are also participating via Quick Start.
  
• The game can be played with up to 3 players, and lasts for 30 minutes.
  
• There are a total of 3 stages and you need to complete a 20-piece puzzle in each stage.
  
• You can see the completed puzzle image in the middle of the map as you wait for the game to start.
  
• The completed puzzle image disappears once the game starts and puzzle pieces spawn in the surroundings.
  
• Approach the puzzle piece and press the Space key to pick up the puzzle piece and move. You can hold on to the puzzle piece for 20 seconds only. Once you exceed that time, the puzzle piece you are holding disappears and spawns where you picked it up.
  
• Approach the puzzle frame in the middle of the map and check the location where you want to place it. Enter the Space key to place the puzzle. The puzzle piece disappears if you don't place it in the exact location and spawns where you picked it up.
  
• You go to the next stage when you complete the puzzle and the game ends when you complete up to the 3rd stage.
  
• Once all 3 stages are completed, you can get your EXP reward from Flame Spiegelmann in the exit map.
  
• The EXP reward can be received up to 2 times a day per world.
  
• Once you have received all of the EXP rewards, you can still join the game but won't get any more rewards.

• It's time for some Mini-games and Mike's got you covered!
  
• Talk to Flaming Mike in the Hyper Ignition map to access the Mini-game Lounge.
  
• The mini-game available will change every 15 minutes, but you can play the Challenge Mini-game anytime.
  
• Competition Mini-games:
  • One Card
    • Starts every hour on the dot.
      
    • Each hero will receive 7 cards when the game starts.
      
    • On your turn, you can select and play one card of the same color or number as the card placed in the center.
      • The cards that you can play will light up.
        
    • If you have no cards you can play, click the cards in the center to draw one.
      
    • You win by getting rid of all cards in your hand.
      • The character to get rid of all the cards the fastest is determined as the first place. The other characters will be ranked based on the remaining cards.
        
      • If you have 17 or more cards in your hands, you will go under and become automatically processed as lost.
        
      • Cards are made up of regular cards, magic cards, attack cards, and knight cards.
        
      • Attack cards cannot be blocked with a weaker attack card.
        
    • 1st: 200 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
    • 2nd: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.

    • Earn points per every glass cup that is used.
      • If the score is a tie, whoever reached the score first is ranked higher.
        
    • The round ends if there is a hero that placed all of their glass cups in the pyramid, or if nobody can place glass cups anymore.
      
    • There are a total of 3 rounds. When all rounds finish, ranks are determined based on the final amount of points.

    • Throw the Yut on your turn and move your pieces along the designated path based on the Yut results.
      
    • If you get a four or a five after throwing the Yut, or if you capture an opponent's piece, you can throw the Yut one more time.
      
    • You win if you get all 4 of your pieces to the goal first within the time limit.
      
    • Win: 150 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
    • Draw: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
    • Lose: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
  • Reverse Battle
    • Starts every hour at the 45-minute mark.
      
    • Start game with either Slime or Pink Bean when you enter the game.
      
    • Slime places the stone first and then you take turns placing stones.
      
    • When you place a stone on your turn, flip over all stones of the opponent between the stone you just put down and the stone that was already placed, and they will be yours.
      
    • Flip the opponent's stone to reduce their HP, and you will win if you make their HP reach 0.
      • The game will end if there are no more places to put the stone within the time limit or if one player's HP reaches 0.
        
    • Win: 150 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
    • Draw: 100 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
    • Lose: 50 Hyper Ignition Points.
      
• Challenge Mini-games:
  • Up and Down Seesaw
    • Hero and Wonky the Fairy begin the seesaw upon entering the mini-game.

      • As the jump count increases, the seesaw speed will increase and the yellow area will decrease.
        
    • Earn points per successful jump, and earn higher points for increasing the number of successes.
      
    • Failing the jump, or successfully jumping 40 times will end the game.

    • Send an invitation to DJ Selena.
      
    • Press the button of the same color as the invitation that appeared on the center.
      • A special invitation will appear in 3 different types and colors in Colorful Ignition Invitation, and the special invitation will keep its true form hidden until moments before sending the invitation out, and transform into one of the 3 types.
        
    • The Fever Gauge fills up as you send the invitations.
      
    • Once it's full, quickly press the Space key.
      
    • You can send the invitation faster.
      
    • Earn Hyper Ignition Points each time you send an invitation.
      • 1 Hyper Ignition Point per 800 game points.

With the v.238 Update on December 14, Red and Black Cubes sold on Reboot world for mesos will have a 90-day duration. Cubes purchased prior to December 14 will be unaffected and you can request a mesos refund for any unused permanent Red and Black Cubes that were purchased on Reboot world. You can also exchange them with Ari, located near the Free Market entrance, and receive a Style Box Stamp. You can receive one stamp per item. This stamp is permanent and untradeable. When you collect enough stamps, you can talk to Shiro, also located near the Free Market entrance, to exchange the stamps for a permanent equip item of your choice! PSSB items obtained in the Netherlands cannot be traded outside of the account, but can be traded within the account and be exchanged for Style Box stamps.

Event Details:

• Note: Reboot and Non-Reboot (Bera, Scania, Aurora, Elysium, Luna, and Burning Worlds) will run their Miracle Times on different days, so make sure you note the correct times for your world!
  
• During the noted periods, you will be able to Cube away with Red Cubes, Black Cubes, and Bonus Potential Cubes, as well as White Cubes and Violet Cubes if you have them, with double the chance of rank-up, and even the chance of increasing your equipment's Potential rank twice with a single cube, possibly letting you jump from Rare straight to Unique!
  • Note: Make sure that you see the Miracle Time scrolling message before starting to Cube, to make sure you're taking full advantage of the boosted rates!
    
• The worlds are all using the old-fashioned Miracle Time event style, so hop on and Cube away--no registration or tickets required!
