Hi there,

Since Wednesday 18th June MapleStory had a System Maintenance.

But after that system maintenance or server check, I have been experiencing this weird lag that I never had before.

It would suddenly happen; on my side of the screen, I would not be able to use any buffs nor attacks, I see monsters moving around me, people around me killing monsters in my party, I see thier damages, the monster dying and spawning, I see people talking in chat, I see party buffs being rebuffed on my screen, I even leech exp and see my exp bar go up in %s.

However, I cannot type back to them and attack, they would see me lag in a spot. Sometimes I would un-lag, and I know this buy using my pet to loot piles of etc items, and when I un-lag it looks like my pet is vaccing all the drops where ever the pet has been.

At first I thought it maybe my internet speed, but I Skype everyday back in the past, and it didnt even lag me at all.

Maybe it's my upload rate? But I dont think so...

Well heres the result of my speedtest.net:
4700 kb/s
150 to 350 kb/s (Between that lately)
Around 70 Ping lately (Use to be 38 I remember)

I have uninstalled MS, reformatted thinking there was something wrong with my laptop, but the lag still occurs.

Also, a friend of mine also has this weird lag very rarely, we are from Europe also.

A thought is, do you think it's Maple servers? I heard they have new servers since that System Maintence. (Might explain all those channel crashes recently?)

Probably nobody knows me from SW...I am a member of it since early '05 and I've played Maple since late '04. I didn't post much because it wasn't my cup of tea...My username was hudster. >;(

There is a really old thread on this, here. It died a long time ago and does not have any 4th job information. Consider this thread an extension of the idea to provide a table of values that will help tell you exactly how much damage you can do with your attack skills.

Everyone knows how confusing the mechanics of combo are, new crusaders always have the question "How much % is coma at level __ with level __ combo and __ orbs?" and no one can really answer it. I will dispel the confusion.

My tables are based on data stripped from the .wz files by Fiel, the assumption that Nexon tries to make the skill as simple as possible, the widely accepted values for level 30 combo, the screenshots proving level 30 advanced combo is 188.3% - 191.8%, and testing by myself and others.

One last comment, by request of WhiteAsIce:
combo is MULTIPLICATIVE, not ADDITIVE
For example, max powerstrike with 5 orbs on max Combo deals 2.6 * 1.4 = 364%
