CWPQ crash

this never happened before and it happened 2ce today, in the stage with the statue, my pc just crashes. screen goes black and i have to reset. it happens when the archers kill all the guardians.

anyone else had this happen?

Never heard of this, or of anyone fixing it. I can't even think of any reason why that might happen, unless it's some sort of "Clear stage" lag.

Does it happen when they drop the bow, or is it immediately after they clear the guardians out?

I would recommend trying a run where you remain in a different room from the statue until it is completed. if you're playing on a pirate, stay in the water room, but if you're on an archer then you'll have a lot more problems. :/

I've heard of people having the "black-out" problem as of this patch (and for a few "special" Vista users, the patch before that). No idea for the majority of users how to fix them.

Here are some things to try:
--Play in Windows mode.
--Change your graphics during Stage 5 at least once. You may reset your graphics quality setting afterwards.
--Check to see if you can copy your .wz files to another location (or copy to NUL if you know how to do that). If you can't do this, you may be dealing with corrupt files. (I discovered my Character.wz fails the CRC, and thus corrupt, for six items for some reason)

This may be off topic, but it may be relevant to him aswell. Personally, whenever I play in window mode, as soon as I try to change anything in system option for MapleStory, when I click ok the screen freezes. I have to close the game and restart it.

Actually that happened to me too last patch (WAY better than what happens if I play in full mode long enough). Doesn't do it this patch though, not sure why. Again, just try it and see if it works or not. Or if it brings new problems xD

would any of you guys happen to have a store that basic just closed? like you have to retrieve your items from Federick? idk if that's related
