Malaysia Maps
Are you complaining about the extended long walks in Malaysia exclusive maps? We hear you loud and clear! The Malaysia maps are now modified and improved for your ease of movement. On top of getting a better hunting ground, we have revised the monsters’ EXP rate and healing amount. Check them out and feel the difference!

Malaysia Boss Monsters
Targa and Scarlion bosses are back to wreak havoc again! We are depending on you to protect the Fantasy Theme Park from the monsters’ threat! Now, annihilate the monsters to get an improved Boss Helmet as your prized victory! Your first step to save the day is to obtain a key item from the charismatic NPC Lam to unlock your path to the danger zone.
(Existing boss monster helmets are no longer available to obtain. However, Maplers who have the old helmets will be able to keep them.)

April Fool’s Day Event (From 26th Mar to 7th April 2009)

Image Puzzle Quiz (From 8th to 13th May 2009)
Do you have a keen eye in spotting differences? Come take part in this quiz and show us how observant you are! Event map can be accessed by the portal below NPC Fedrick and NPC Scrooge in the Free Market.

Mini Dungeons
Enter the new mini dungeons in Singapore and Malaysia exclusive maps to take a break from the over-crowded training fields. One thing to note - if you enter the portal alone, your friends will not be able to meet up with you in the exact same map. So gather your friends and party up first before entering!

u are fast, anyway, this is really VERY SLOW

the in-game notice has been up for almost 1 hr then website update, but update also never show the contents release

AS is trying to keep MSEA players in suspense for as long as possible?

 Spoiler
i am interested in the mini-dungeons,looks like AS seriously look into the feedback provided by Maplers (coz people feedbacked that they want a mini-dungeon for SG and MY Maps)
#7

Singapore and Malaysia MINI DUNGEONS!

Malaysia Monsters revised!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~
#9
I just realised. Pianus's spawn rate is not reverting back to original?
#10
Good patch, good content. Pray it turns out well!

Hmm UI updates?
#11
indeed it is a good patch, but the timing looks too short

expecting a extension for it

this is probably part of MapleStory Episode 2 (Changing of maps layout just like what THMS did do their Thailand)
Saint Wrote:I just realised. Pianus's spawn rate is not reverting back to original?
the announcement has this included as well

EDIT: The Patch will commences on 26th March instead of 25th March
#12
so they are getting cwk weapons before cwk? O_o
#13
Patch delayed to 26th march. Oh well. Can't expect more right?\

It appears the delay has something to do with hackshield:
"Update on the patch date. Due to the feedbacks on HackShield system, a thorough testing will be performed to ensure the stability of the client."

Same sentiments exactly. What's the point of releasing the CWK weapons without any background on CWK? The entire saga of "Dawn Raven" and "Night Hawk" items won't make any sense to the majority of the SEA population.

UNLESS this patch comes with the updated NLC (i.e. with quests updated to the CWK storyline), releasing them early is just another way to gain revenue?

And oh many people are speculating the weapons to be tweaked/ toned up drastically as they seem to disturb the HARMONIOUS balance in SEA. Who knows?
#16
Notice how they aren't adding night raven weapons except the night wing. Dexless claw and godly xbow out of sight.

I seem to remember this only coming out when Phantom Forest did. As it stands, MSEA still needs to get the Haunted House first before they can get Phantom Forest.
#18
This is a pretty decent patch. New area, revamp of old area, and minor adjustments. Although, I would like to see a step up on security and customer service.

I wonder if that means sneak preview for the patch after this one?.. I'm not sure. Hurt

Or are we following the NLC -> Phantom Forest & Haunted House -> CwK updates..?

(Probably releasing a the Global Version of Haunted House and not more Halloween Event-only Haunted House?)

Things sound interesting...

But this is so weird, adding those weapons in...

(Sometimes I feel that if there are no long maps... Things aren't nice. If everything is made so convenient for us, the game shouldn't be fun anymore. I was wondering if we could get some LONGGGG walking maps or something.. I find the Malaysia Maps not that long too. =_=)
#20
Things are shaping up.

Looks like they reacted to the security problem faster this time round.

Hopefully the mini-dungeons will be as good, if not even better, than MP3 and the Duku Maps now.
