Base.wz corrupted no matter what.

I'm trying to install MapleStory on my brother's laptop. However, whatever I do, it continues to say that I have a corrupt Base.wz, and that I need to download the newest version of MapleStory. However, the file that I download from Nexon's site seems to also be corrupted with the Base.wz. I've tried to reinstall, redownload, restart, pretty much everything that might be possible to fix this problem. Is this happening to anyone else? And does anyone else know a way to fix this problem?

Get someone else's Base.wz that isn't corrupt? (my knowledge of file xfers without email is nib)
