#1
As i'm browsing any website, sometimes my internet explorer just locks up, and I have to ctrl + alt + dlt out of it. Well not sometimes..... more like once every half hour or so. It's really getting on my nerves. Anyone know of any way to fix this?

Theres an option in firefox that allows you to always see the tab bar. If you want to open new tabs ala IE way, just go to the Tabs section in Firefox options and select the 3rd option.

I also strongly suggest that you install the Adblock Plus extension for firefox. (Its basically an additional layer of protection [Blocks Ads that Firefox cannot]).

I installed adblock plus (atleast I think I did. It didn't install like normal installations do. I got a firefox window thing when it was installing, but it didn't close. I manually closed it.). I was wondering how do I use it? Do I just right click on the adds to make them so I don't see them anymore?

This is what happens to me -_-

 Spoiler

You downloaded the wrong thing. That's not Adblock Plus. Get rid of that.

This is the right thing to download. ABP automatically blocks ads, all you need to do is subscribe to EasyList (USA). It'll prompt you to do so right after you install and restart Firefox.

You can also add a "New Tab" button to your Navigation Bar by hitting View -> Toolbars -> Customize and then dragging the New Tab button to where you want it.

Firefox is fully customizable in countless ways. I've been using it for six years already I think... What the hell took you so long to switch? Even Opera and Chrome are vastly superior choices to IE.
