CK PQ Bosses: Results
#1
(If this should be in the Screenshot section, then I do not mind the Mods moving it.)

I'll be posting some screenshots as well my "report" of the boss section of the CWK PQ Bosses.

We managed to kill 3 of the 4 Grandmasters. (The Magician, The Warrior, The Archer in that order.) We entered with 18 or 19 (I didn't keep count) and at the end of the 1 hour and 30 minute boss fight, there were 3 survivors. (1 person DCed, sorry vulcanoo) They are me (Vice- 146 Shadower), Chickens0up (160 Shadower), and Brawlas (147 Buccaneer)

3 Pendants and the new 2 hand axe were dropped. The people who got the pedants are TruPac, Chickens0up, and Brawlas. 1 Pendant drops from each Grandmaster.

After killing the monster swarm that starts the fight and beginning the Mages and Bishops all died really fast. We began by killing the Magician who spawns on the top platform. By the time she died, about half of us were left. After that we move to the bottom to fight the final 3 where we just all died 1 by one slowly until me, CK, Brawlas and sinnerx24 (another Shadower) were left. From there Brawlas just kept pushing them while the other 3 of us just kept bombing. sinnerx24 died (nooooo) and me and CK kept bombing. Eventually we killed the Warrior (which 2 oh his summons spawned and we killed them and we killed the Archer after the timer glitched (and we stayed in longer than normal) and got CK his pendant.

Here are the screenshots. (If they get taken down you can view them at my photobucket. http://s543.photobucket.com/albums/gg464/kztxl7/)

PROTIP- Bring a lot of BM's or bring apples for em. They have to take out like 7 of those black gaurdians in 15 mins. We failed once because they didn't finish in time, so I gave them apples.

Oh and that thief doesn't have 8k weapon defense lmao. Just a lot of avoid. I missed him sometimes

lol u posted the same time as me. Lemme ask mods to delete my thread. I'll just copy over my post.

Sooo everyone ended up dying except me, chickens0up, and vice. Me, TruPac, and chickens0up got our pends. I'm gonna help vice get his later on today. TruPac ended up dying when the warrior dude started using attack up (5.4k damage). The timer at the end of the boss fight is glitched, and you can sit and kill the grandmasters even after it reaches 0.

Well it started out with everyone making it too the last fight. It was a party with a bunch of randoms (basically everyone who got there first, we partied everyone). Well... not everyone was up to fight the boss. The mage quickly took out just about everyone. There were only around 10 people left when the mage died. Then the BM's died next, followed by TruPac (when the warrior started doing attack up), and the other pirate and then one of the shadowers.

Basically, it was me and 2 shadowers, vs 3 grandmasters. We started doing a strategy, I kept attacking them and keep them from the shadowers, while they drop mesos. Then I rushed the grandmasters to the mesos, and they bombed it. We basically repeated that until they died.

The only one we didn't take out was the thief.

Also didn't get it but considering I was in party of all shadowers at the beginning, I didn't notice.

could the bosses check attackers job ids and specify what kind of attacks to use? like if theres a bishop in party, cast zombify, if not, dont cast it?

I didn't see how AznFireAngel or Kinus died. Was probably from 1/1 + poison combo. That's the biggest danger after Zombify.

Max damage will be 7k damage.

Good job, folks!

Hmmm.... looks like that pendant will soon be flooding into FMs everywhere.
I think I'll skip getting a Deputy Star, just hurry up and level to 110.

I finally made it to the bosses after a large number of failed PQs. Started immediately after patch and kept running with randoms who didn't know what to do and parties that weren't equipped for the fight. I wasn't expecting to get anywhere close to beating the bosses.

There was no way we were going to be able to take down 900m HP with only two DrKs, two NLs, a Shadower, and a handful of third jobbers. Half of our group died or left. But I did manage to experience the fight before letting myself die due to a lack of getting anywhere and tons of pot consumption, and I noted a few things:

This fight is MUCH easier than we thought.

- The thief is not physical immune. I could do damage to it, and my max base range is only in the 3300s with MW/12 att elixir. I think our wdef formula is incorrect, because we're getting the same results we do with Anego. High wdefs do not make as huge of an impact as they should.
- Nothing in the room does more than 3.1k damage with good defense. I didn't bother with HB, as you can see in the screenshot.
- There is no lethal poison. There's a variety of ways you can get poisioned, and I got hit with the 1/1 several times and I was poisoned, but I didn't die because of it. The poison means you just need to use an allcure afterward.
- Margana does Zombify, but the Zombify status animation does not show up. There is no way to tell that you are zombified other than your pots working at half effectiveness and Heal killing you, which didn't happen due to a lack of a Priest.

I think as far as strategy goes, all you need is a team of warriors to rush Rellik and Red Nirg together into one corner and kill them, while another group works on Hsalf in the other corner, and a team of strong attackers takes down Margana, who is the easiest to kill, and the most annoying, because of Zombify. Once Margana is down, the attackers move down to Hsalf and finish him off, then join the group killing the last two.

The PQ is easy if you go with friends instead of randoms who have no idea what they're doing. The fight seems pretty easy as well, it just takes a long time to kill them. I think people died mostly due to a lack of inexperience and not knowing what to expect, rather than anything really being that hard. Margana should definitely be taken care of first to save pots. Bring lots of all cures. That's about it.

Edit: Oops, guess the Warrior never used attack up when we were fighting it. I was soloing him for a short period of time and I never took more than 3.1.

Also, the archer's 1/1 poison is easy as hell to see. He charges an arrow up and you have plenty of time to move out of the way.

Lol, the "awesome axe" is the same stats as a Colonian.

Meanwhile, the Raven Swords are faster and higher atk than their normal level 90 counterparts.

Nexon really <3s axes don't they.

That's one of the most dangerous parts of the PQ. Once the warrior gets half hp, he starts using attack up, and all the grandmasters start doing 5k+ damage.
