Street Fighter 4

has anyone played this yet on the ps3?

im looking for noob/amateurs to play and grow with.

who are you're favorites or mains?

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]I played it on the 360, borrowed it from a friend. I'll probably be grabbing a copy of my own sometime soon. Very fun, nostalgic too, since the last Street Fighter game I played was SFII Turbo on the SNES. So far, my favorite characters to play as would have to be either Crimson Viper or Cammy.

FU'CK THE AI WHEN THEY'RE PLAYING ZANGIEF, SETH, OR ABEL. BEING ABLE TO PULL OFF SPECIAL THROWS THAT YOU CANT TECH OUT OF IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE IS NOT FUN.

I just wish I had an arcade stick to go with it, 360's DPad sucks ass, its analog is slightly better, but still annoying as piss to try and pull some specials off or more complex combos.[/COLOR]

How do you play the SF games. My friend and i attempted to play SF2 Turbo from the Xbox marketplace and we cant pull any moves off and the basics of the game make no sense. Just curious how much skill it takes to become anything better than a spam attacker

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]I've never played the XBox Live Remake, so I'm not entirely sure how it handles, but I don't recall it ever being that hard. Don't try to use the DPad for the game, just use the analog stick. It shouldnt be so hard that you cant pull of ANY moves, unless you're playing as like Zangief and trying to pull off his special throws. The hadouken movement, quarter circle forward, should be relatively easy to pull off, and quite a few characters have that for one of their specials. o_o

old school player here, so D-pad for me. but if you play for hours...the analog is the way to go. and analog is great for those super gief moves.

im trying to unlock cammy, but seth is so cheap/overmatched for c.viper T_T.

Haha cheat, like what I did.
When to match begins, do a jump forward H-kick, then croach and do a H-kick. At this point Seth is on the ground, press and hold M-Punch and M-Kick, once he gets hit, do a croach and H-kick. Rinse and repeat LOL. Works for me.

I don't really have a main but I use Akuma, Gouken and Cammy.
Cammy is just Mmm.

i found something even better. "easiest mode"...i felt so dumb when i realize there was an easier mode than "easy." after that i got all the other chars fast. im not feeling gouken right now....but i've only played him 10mins?

I seem to be playing Sakura a lot more nowadays, if anyone's interested in playing a few matches over XBL I'd be more than happy, but that doesn't seem likely with the amount of activity in the games forum overall. >_>

Next time Im on I'll send you an invite Zaotsu. I need some practice as I havent played since the beginning of April. Who knows I might actually be bad for the first few matches since its been so long

Sakura has one of the longest and difficult links in the game. I believe with full meter she can pull off 30 hit combo with combined specials, FADCs, and normals. Has a lot of lk tatsu strings I think
